Wonderful location. The food was very good - lots of choice, well presented and delicious. The staff were exceptional. The daily bulletin was a nice touch at breakfast time. A lovely family run country hotel.

that i only got to stay for 1 night !!!!!!! would have loved to chill out and stay for a week . such a relaxing house. tried to uplaod pics error message - shame

We did not expect the beautiful place to be so lovely - open log fires - attentive cheerful staff - THE FOOD ( evening meal & breakfast - what can I say apart from AMAZING - i have eaten in top london resturants and this matched them in every way, locally sourced suppliers - absolutely divine almost forgot about the bar which is well stock with delicious wines - i just wish it was closer to home so i could sample the whole menue!!! Room was spacious lovely powerful shower over bath - everything i needed in my room - fantastic countryside - great walking area. We will be back !!! lovely to support small business, with there outstanding service and attention to detail. Thank you and Merry Christmas to you all.

The whole stay was one of enjoyment, from the room, the views, and the wonderful food, which was beautifully prepared each night, beautifully presented, with enough, but not too much. The gluton free, and lactose free options were explained to my partner each night, by the very attentive staff, who throughout the stay did everything possible to make it memorable.

Such a wonderful friendly hotel. 5 star treatment from the staff, guests, facilities and wow the food - fine dining (what a pleasant surprise). Even though I was there for work, I felt like I was on holiday. Was very sad it only lasted 2 days. WOW can't wait to come back.

Shown fridge with fresh milk, only one small bottle in, when we came to use it had gone. Washing machines heard early in morning, plus a phone ringing. Mess up on bill, still not 100% happy as think was still charged for drinks we did not have, but got a credit of some, and haven’t patience to pursue further

That we could not stay longer ;). I do not usually stay in hotels, or I go abroad where prices are less, so with all meal bills included just for one night this did feel like stretching the budget for me though I understand this was reasonable for the UK and worth it as a treat. (We were very tempted by offer at breakfast table of an additional night with food included - unfortunately had plans to be elsewhere). Ps. You could do with some heating lamps in the and working lights in the summer house would be nice.

Great location for rural break. Staff were helpful from the getgo. Great views from walk out from hotel. Dinner was delicious. Good wine selection. Room was comfortable with private aspect. Lots to do in area, Llangollan, walks, and waterfalls. Loved the lack of road noise and being able to hear all the birdsong in the morning.
