Very comfortable accommodation in a period house in a great location close to the centre of Dolgellau. Julie and Jan are wonderful hosts & gave great advice on visiting local attractions. Breakast was delicious. Highly recommended.

Our hosts were wonderful! Dolgellau village is small and friendly, but bustling with lovely shops and plenty of great places to eat. Plas Gwyn is a beautiful heritage home, excellently appointed and our room/suite was very special. Definite oooooh factor when you walk in - spacious with views from every window. The four poster bed was very comfortable. There’s a small fridge and safe, also a sofa, books to read, tea and coffee facilities. A very warm and inviting space. Breakfast was made to order and delicious. Plas Gwyn is a true, old fashioned B and B, you are living upstairs in your host’s home. This is not a cold, big hotel experience, therefore consideration is required in regard to living with other guests. We LOVED it and will be back.

Very clean, pretty location, easy to find. We arrived late as our ferry from Ireland had difficulties. The owners made us some delicious sandwiches at a very late hour which they didnt need to have done! Very friendly people! Highly recommend!

Excellent breakfast, room a bit cramped but this was reflected in the price, lovely Georgian property and very agreeable owners/hosts. Centre of town just 3 minutes away. Coast about 25 minutes and very good location for climbing, walking and heritage generally.

Only things I can think of is yhe room temperature (a little cold for my Mediterranean taste at times, but nothing really important).

Excellent hosts and breakfast. Great communication both before our arrival and during our stay. Gave us the best tips on what to do, where to eat etc. The place is full of character and very clean, with everything by your feet. Would strongly recommend.

Can't think of anything we disliked at all. Our hosts, Jan & Julie were wonderful, so friendly, extremely helpful and very attentative.

Breakfast was very enjoyable and perfectly cooked and presented. Location was ideal and everything in walking distance! I highly recommend if you're visiting the beatiful town of Delgellau you won't be disappointed staying at Plas Gwyn.

Nothing would put me off from going again.

A lovely B&B with lots of period features. Friendly and welcoming hosts. Nicely situated for access around Snowdonia and surrounding areas. Great breakfast, with a good selection of different dishes. Room was comfortable and well appointed, with en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. Tea and coffee making facility with kettle, and a pack of Welsh cakes to enjoy with a brew. Car parking was available on site. Property is positioned in walking distance of the centre of Dolgellau, with pubs and restaurants nearby - the woodfired pizza at the Stag and the selection of food at the Torrent are recommended - braised Bala beef at the Torrent well worth a try!

Jan and his wife were extremely welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. They were very knowledgeable about the local area. The bullilding and the room were immaculate and stunning. Excellent location.
