Alot of anti social behaviour, a couple arguing late night and the police came to arrest somebody and escorted them from the hotel in the afternoon.

The staff were lovely accommodating location was in close vicinity to the facilities we wanted to access.

Being forced to pay an additional £50 security deposit on my bank card. I have previously stayed here this year and no such deposit was asked for. I never saw this at the time of booking as it was hidden in the small print and I think it is an outrageous demand on arrival at reception without prior warning. It will make me think twice about staying here again.

Stayed last in 2008 and the hotel is now looking a little tired, the bar was sadly very quiet with no atmosphere…

The staff were amazing and lunch was very generous. The room was nice and very clean, great bathroom.

Although there was a bath showing in the room online, it was only cosmetic. A pity as it would have been nice after 20+ hours flight. But I must add the staff made up for the short fall.

I stayed in room 103 which wasn't as good as the room I stayed in previously. The bathroom has a large window, with only a net curtain at it, which wasn't good as I wanted to shower after it was dark and the room over looks a busy street.

I stayed in room 103, which was nice, but I have stayed in nicer rooms at this hotel. The hotel is very welcoming, clean and feels safe.

Lift goes to 3rd floor as a 66 year old having to carry case up final flight to 4th floor.

Location excellent, facilities good. Breakfast ample, staff pleasant. Floor of bedroom not hoovered during our time there though other cleaning and towel changes daily

No charge for room service, as a lone traveller I don't like eating in a bar alone, but have to pay extra to have food delivered to the room.

Cold in the room (4th floor). TV didn’t work, neither did the Wi-Fi until the first morning - Reported at the time.

Beds very noisy if you're turning it was bad. No sound proof on the halls . Their was a door goes to another from our room that wasn't good, we were hearing them talking like we were in the same room.

Building needs a lot of maintenance and this shows in places but much better than characterless modern builds.

The bed was a bit hard my hips hurt through night. I felt a bit uncomfortable .some people like it like that. But too hard for me

The breakfast was lovely cooked and good variety of it the room was lovely warm bathroom was spotless clean .the lady on the reception when we arrived was ofr west Indian origin she was lovely so helpful and very polite

Car park now £5 a day for residents.. Card details required on check £50 taken returnable but can take several days Hot water slow to come through in bathroom But overall a good experience and quite a quality hotel. Have used before and will again

Nice size clean room..everything you would expect..nicely appointed..quite. Nice clean modern bathroom. Good size T.v...kettle ect..comfybed..Nice restaurant and good food...3 minute walk into centre of city..also onsite car park .
