bathroom, windows could do with a seal, as there was too much noise, whilst appreciate the room was seafront, it did feel at times the window was open with the amount of noise. little touches with small improvements can make a huge difference, - such as the wardrobe doors were uneven, short in some cases to others, which tells you the wardrobe has been maintained with basic essential care.

the bathroom looked and felt worn and needed some Tender care, the shower head was small and therefore taking a shower was a long winded process and feeling the need to constantly move about more than other showers located in other hotels.

Whilst small, the pool and gym facilities are good - and a great bonus. The location is awesome - right on the front with easy access to Pier and SeaLife. Plus town only a short walk away. Breakfast was good!

We just spent my Birthday Weekend at the Queens: Whilst the Old place may be a little "tired" in places, the friendliness and down right helpful; cheerfulness of All of the staff is a credit to the Management, and or their staff training regime. Our room was clean and spacious, fab Sea View. Bed was pretty comfy and the room all round overall was great. It isn't 4/5 star, but it could be with a lot of money spending on refurbing furniture, decor etc. Breakfast was Self Service but of a good standard, enough variety, unless you're uber fussy! But what made it for us was the pleasant, helpful and courteous nature of all staff members. The little touch of a birthday card, a hand written note from our room maid meant a lot. TY.

Pillows are too big to use which was a bit uncomfortable. It would be nice to have a nice coffee machine in the room.

The location is perfect, close to town and the beach. The health facilities are really lovely to have. The reception staff are very helpful.

Room warm and the family room we stayed in windows don’t open very much. Room could do with a mini fridge to chill bottles of water etc..shower head could do with a bit of clean to get rid of the limescale. But don’t let that put you off as it’s minor problems

Loved it , the staff was friendly and helpful , breakfast lovely with great choices, room was clean and spacious. Great location well worth a visit. next time we plan on staying longer so we have time to use the pool and spa facilities.

It was a bit dated and rough round the edges. Our top floor corner room was small and not very bright due to the small window. This did mean it was quieter though which was good. I can imagine the rooms on lower floors with bigger windows would suffer from street noise as there’s no double glazing.

It was in a good location. The bed was comfortable and bathroom had a nice big bath with plenty of hot water. It was good to have the pool and sauna/steam even though the pool was smaller than it looked in the photos. The staff were nice.

That a twin room is more expensive than a double, a negative for me as I visited with my teenage daughter.

I have stayed here twice before, out of all the hotels I have stayed in Brighton, I prefer the" Queens Hotel ". But the prices are getting too expensive. A double in the "Grand" on the 2 days I stayed was actually cheaper than what I payed.
