FIRST ROOM HAD NO HOT WATER N THE SHOWER , VIEW INTO CREMATORIUM

SECOND ROOM HAD A NICE VIEW OF OBAN BAY BUT FIRST ROOM LOOKED INTO THE CREMATORIUM I WAS TOLD

Cold water in the shower ! They tried to charge an extra £60 for parking after advising it was ok to park .

the towels in our room were wet and the towel dryer/ radiator in the bathroom was not working, it took us a whilst to sort out dry towels so we could have a shower as there was a problem with their tumble dryer too, bit more of a walk into town for something to eat as no evening meal available than the muthu we should have been staying in.

we stayed in the best western not the muthu as it was closed for refurbishment, room had a good view, it was clean and the beds are very comfy, staff were friendly especially the girl behind the bar and on the front desk, breakfast was good, help yourself affair so you could have what you wanted

The hotel was dated and was kept awake by sound of works on the next door place and lift mechanism all night.

The hotel was not ready to receive guests as the corridor leading to our room had no lighting. There were light fittings on the floor. The 2 nd night the staff added battery operated candles. However they were inadequate. At least they tried.

Bathroom was in closed and had no heating therefore the towels could not dry.

Hotel was in a good location and we had a sea view room.

severely needs updated, wi-fi signal not great. lift was broken the whole 3days we spent there. communication was not good, breakfast was terrible it was stone cold. it lacks the friendly atmosphere.

The lifts were out of order for the full week we were there the blind in the bathroom didn't cover the full window and was covered in white paint which took away the look of the bathroom as it looked as though they had just been refurbished for the price we paid for a room you would have thought that would have included breakfast but it didn't and to have breakfast would have cost 20 a couple each day front steps could be an issue for disabled people as I didn't see a ramp

The location was excellent if you get a room with a sea view it's a great view onto the water

management didn’t wear masks. when I asked them why they weren’t wearing them they said they didn’t have to as they were double vaccinated. I explained that this was not the case and they argued about it. I would never go back there and that’s a shame!

Small bedroom, shower very hard to get working, bath plug wouldn't retract so they put a chain on and put it back upside down. Clear glass in bathroom with poor fitted blind.

Location is brilliant and had been refurbished but not to a high standard, paint on carpets

Hotel is very dated. Smell of dampness and no working lift. Hot water when running cold tap. Rooms are very basic. Overpriced

we arrived was shown our room which hadn't been cleaned went to reception to tell them girl on desk said she has told cleaner to hurry up and we had to sit waiting for an hour and 15 mins

The hotel seemed basic and outdated and the staff were not very friendly and welcoming.

Lift out of action. Ladies and gents toilets were both out of action. No restaurant or bar. Signage to rooms could be better.

Toilet and shower room fantastic. Hotel was clean and the staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was good and hearty but could have been hotter.

Great location in front of marina, rooms were spacious but seemed to be in middle of decoration, need new mattresses and pillows, upgrade decor and fix the lift

The Wifi did not work for a whole evening (but the staff was very helpful in trying to solve it). The bed (during my 2nd stay) was a couch with a sheet placed over it and the heater was broken. I also found a living bug in my bed. There was a leak in the lobby and it is clear that the hotel, despite it's classic aesthetic, has seen better days.

The location is very central and close to the main shopping street and the railway station. The staff was very helpful, the breakfast was perfectly adequate and the bathrooms were quite clean.

The building needs upgraded but I can see with an old building Art Deco-it is difficult. But overall it was ok.

Shoddy décor in rooms, especially paint work, quality of breakfast poor and just no atmosphere within the hotel. Very budget in every way.
