The bed in the second bedroom was broken, the owner said he would come with a new wooden slat to fix it but botched it up with a wooden frame of some kind do we had 2 very uncomfortable nights. The carpet and the sofa could do with a good steam clean as they were covered in stains. 2 sachets of coffee provided and no milk, no shower gel either. It would be a nice touch to include these.

Nothing not to like.

Overall the property is excellent - in a great location with an amazing view. It is well equipped with everything you would need. I would say that it is tremendous value for money and I would definitely stay again. Private Parking space was great as well. Short walk to Cardiff Bay and similar walk to the city centre.

Beds were a bit soft Instruction manual would be beneficial for oven, tv, etc. Missed my SmartTV but there was a nice selection of DVD’s.

The heating didn’t work in the living room but we weren’t cold The cleaner needs to clean the upstairs en-suite better as there is black mould on the tiles and ceiling and parts of shower base are dirty the carpets could do with a deep clean the mirrors and windows were streaky glasses weren’t clean - blood on duvet cover in the second bedroom 1 bedside table lamp didn’t work in main bedroom and stain on inside main bedroom curtains Dead plant on balcony isn’t a good look I also think if it was maximum capacity of 6 you would need a larger sofa everything looking a big tired or in need of a lick of paint Tv was also very difficult to watch and set up all plugs unplugged including scarts and the signal was intermittent we ended up just watching the laptop but we were out mostly so it wasn’t a big issue for us I’m only writing this as I feel the owner may not be aware of so many issues generally basic things to repair or clean I hope this info is private as I genuinely think the issues are all easily rectified and if the apartment was spruced up a bit more they could probably charge a lot more as the location and view is amazing

loved the view we arrived after dark and the view was spectacular The host corresponded speedily to messages nice to have a private parking space and it all felt very secure The kitchen was nice enough but most places would leave at least 1 dishwasher tablet and washing machine detergent lovely underfloor heating in the hallway comfortable beds good storage lots of space handy to have iron ironing board Can’t get past the view though this sells this property

Kitchen equipment sparse (no bread knife or sieve?), sofa in poor condition. Fire alarm via smoke detectors in the middle of the night throughout the high-rise building (?).

One of 2 apartments at the top of the high-rise building with a great view. Living room and bedroom equipped with TV etc.: There was plenty of space for 5 people (maisonette apartment over 2 floors)

The beds were good, but the sofa bed was not really usable.

Amazing views, very comfortable space, lots of room, good facilities. Parking for one car in the building, supermarket 5 min away, downtown 10min away by car, 15min walk from Cardiff Station. Highly recommended.

The mattress on the bed could do with being replaced and perhaps a little paint on the skirting boards, but that is all that I can fault.

The location was excellent. We wanted to split our time between the bay and the castle, so we couldn't have chosen a better place. Also, simple little touches, coffee, tea bags, toilet paper just basics, but they were there. We had a two storey apartment, which we didn't expect with great views. The girls were super excited. The car was parked in an underground car park and it felt very secure.

Downstairs toilet doesn't flush when water is running upstairs. 2 small saucepans had no lids. The teatowel and kitchen cloth were dirty and there were no spares. Only 1 cereal bowl. No China mugs. The freezer was completely iced up.

property is tired. broken bed in second bedroom carpets, sofas and mattresses need replacing not enough sofa seating for family, broken bath panels. unlocked messy cleaners cupboards and could have been cleaner. balcony cigarette ends one chair and table not arranged nicely. sky tv but not working so unsure why the box is there. 5 remote controls with no batteries. such a shame as with a bit of cash spent this place could go from ok to fabulous!!

Small things that just could have been improved/checked. No batteries in the remotes, no baking trays for the oven, freezer door left open and ice build up so freezer door wouldn't shut or be used, shower door didn't fully close, shower head stuck at the bottom of the rail so frustrating if you are not a child! I also found it strange that the 3 cupboards used for cleaning products , spare kitchen items and laundry, were not locked. (There were piles of dirty laundry) All that said, we would stay again

Amazing sized rooms, with quality wooden furniture. Location was perfect for town and the Bay. Views were amazing, spectacular to wake up to. Parking was an added bonus and felt safe and secure.

Noisy neighbours. Someone downstairs played loud music till late most nights. Luckily the children are heavy sleepers and didn't notice lol

The location is AMAZING!! we walked many times to the city centre and the bay. Apartment has everything you need. Would defo recommend!! Children loved the fact it was like a house with the bedrooms upstairs lol The view is out of this world! Xx

Confusion over address and arrangements for gaining access. Short notice on how to access the apartment. Contact telephone number listed was incorrect. Booking.com staff were quick to help rectify the situation. The owner did get in touch on the day but I really needed the information requested in advance of arriving. A postcode is not sufficient information. All was resolved just before my partner arrived from London luckily.

The beautiful scenic views from 12th floor. The apartment was spacious and clean with every possible utensil/facility needed for a weekend break. Very quiet building. It was close to the Millenium Centre approx 10 min walk and Cardiff Bay train Station. It took 5 mins to reach Queen Street. I would book again without hesitation if visiting Cardiff.
