This was a short business trip so, because of work commitments, I was unable to appreciate the full extent of the facilities. However, I found the hotel to be of a very high quality, comfortable, clean and the staff were really helpful and pleasant.

United KingdomBeing only 15 mins from Chester City centre but felt miles away from anywhere. Set in beautiful grounds this hotel is so peaceful. Lovely walled garden and nice areas to sit & enjoy a drink outside. Our room had a balcony with a gorgeous view of the garden and felt like a mini holiday. The pool area opens at 7am, so perfect to use first before heading out for the day. The food is excellent as was the service.

CanadaI think when you come for a bed and breakfast, all breakfasts should be included. We were at another property in Wrexham, a small Pub with rooms and they allowed an unlimited choice and quantity. A high end resort as yours could follow suit. A suggestion.

United KingdomParts of the hotel were obvioulsy under refurbishment or due to be so loooked a little tired, with wallpaper peeling off and parts freshly painted and others not.
Rooms were superb and facilities for the family, pool etc., were excellent. The staff at dinner were brilliant, very attentive to the needs of a family of 5 (with 3 kids under 10!)

Love the hotel and the location being a stone's throw away from Chester! We love the charm of the hotel with the dark wood walls and old fashioned features! Our room was clean and adequate and in fact was the same room we had last year which was abit weird! Enjoyed the spa steam room and sauna jacuzzi and pool area! We went there early evening before we out for dinner into Chester! It wasnt too busy which was great! We were going to go in the morning after checking out but it was really busy! We stayed Saturday to Sunday just one night at the end of January 2024!
