The accommodation is very well located in the centre of the village, it has a lot of charm and confort so it is ideal for a couple's weekend enjoiying Stratford-upon-Avon. We arrived later than expected in the evening and Alex sorted all out to make it easy for us to check-in. Once there, Pascal welcomed us very kindly and gave us very good recommendations. Salamander Guest House is a highly recommended accommodation to get to discover and enjoy Stratford

It was slightly noisy with other guests coming and going and walking around but I was on the ground floor so this may have been the reason.

This guest house is a lovely property close to the amenities of town. The hosts were lovely (saw Pascal at the property and spoke to Alex via SMS as she was unfortunately unavailable during my stay, although she was available via SMS if I did need her) they were both pleasant and couldn't do enough for you, I was provided on arrival with a map and recommendations of places to eat which was greatly appreciated. The beds and pillows were lovely and soft and comfortable. There was a well stocked tea tray with biscuits and different types of teas and coffee with sugar and milk. The room also came with towels and shower gels/shampoo to use if needed. I booked a single room and was given an upgrade on arrival to a twin bedroom which was very thoughtful of the hosts and was much appreciated! Overall I had a lovely stay here and would recommend this place to anyone needing a place to stay while visiting!!!

All was well, can not fault anything.

Excellent stay, again. It was my second stay at Salamander Guest House and if anything, it was even better than last time. The house is very clean, modern, newly refurbished in a very convenient location. Very close to everything in the town center and to the train station. The host was wonderful, very polite, always with a smile, very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

No view from room , but it wasn't really problem . There was a bit of traffic noise , but I am a light sleeper , and I had the window open .

I found the bath towel a bit small, I like to wrap myself in it, but it is probably just me :).

Excellent location, very close to everything in the town center and the train station too. The room is very clean, comfortable and modern. The bathroom looked newly refurbished and also very clean. The toiletries and the beverage selection was great and luxurious. All in all a great accommodation and very welcoming owners.

Need a mirror in the second bedroom and rubber backed bathroom mat would be much safer, as it’s very slippy to step out of the shower onto. Shower head cannot be angled (bit that angles the head seems broken) and only angles down towards the back wall. All things very minor and easily remedied.

Alex has so friendly and helpful. Location was perfect. Property was clean and freshly renovated and comfy beds. Tv in both rooms was a great touch.

Alex was there to greet us when we arrived, she had given us a quiet room at the rear of the house as requested, the room was huge, 1 dble, 1 single, lovely comfy beds, clean fresh bedding, room was a little too warm for us ladies of a certain age, but a lovely big window that we could open sorted that out, bathroom was lovely, spotless, plenty of tea and coffee, the house was so quiet, Alex asked what we hoping to do whilst we were there, 2 ladies meeting up who wanted to chat, eat and drink so she marked on a map restaurant's and bars to visit, all close by and also best walks ect, all in all it was great, the only let down was the trains, which I will never set foot on again, I will drive in future,

A few hooks in the bathroom to hang towels would have been useful.

Location was excellent, parking on site was available. The host was excellent, helpful and informative of the local town.
