Small minus. the view from our window was spoilt by the fact that we could see the roof and wall of the spa which wasn’t very attractive, it could be made much more attractive. However looking past this the view of the estuary was lovely.

The location was excellent and the staff couldn’t do more, very friendly and helpful. Sunday roast was also excellent, would stay there again.

shame to get a £10 charge for parking on exit. Hadn't realised that wasn't included. pay extra for cooked breakfast too and even a cappucino for breakfast (although coffee machine in room)

lovely hotel, nice environment. Th rooms are clean and very good size. Well stocked, and the complimentary gin was a really nice touch. Spa was very good - good mix of adult-only time and family time. Sauna and steam room worked well. We had bar food in the evening, which was lovely - restaurant looked great too. service was friendly and attentive

Everything was great. The only thing was we were trying to relax at the spa and there was loads of children in the pool so made it hard to relax. If they did time slots without children that would be perfect.

We loved our stay at the harbour hotel. It was a lovely hotel in a prime location.

The outside of the room patio area is tired and requires paint and de-weeding. We had a minor issue with our meal at dinner, but this was satisfactorily resolved by the Restaurant Manager.

The reception staff very welcoming and showed us to our room; staff very friendly and service excellent. Our fist stay, but we will return. Ice service to the room at gin and tonic time each evening!

Nothing really - car park isn't the best but unavoidable given the location

The hotel location is excellent - less than 5 mins walk through the town centre and overlooking the estuary The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful, in particular the reception team The room was exactly what we'd hoped for - stylish but relaxed, the balcony didn't get much use but would have been excellent in the summer!

The pillows could do with being replaced as the ones in our room were incredibly soft and really rather thin The French toast was severely lacking this morning, not at all pleasant, undercooked and not crisp

Fantastic location within very close walking distance to the shops and restaurants in beautiful Salcombe. Breakfast was delicious. A great choice of dishes, alongside a variety of pastries, cold meats, cheese and Greek yoghurt. Staff were very welcoming and we were chuffed to be upgraded to a room with a view of the estuary. I can’t fault the stay in any way. We will return.

Beautiful setting! The room was perfect, although they said partial sea view our balcony looked out onto the river which was stunning even in the rain on our first day. We ate at the restaurant for dinner, and breakfast - both were exceptional. Locally sourced ingredients and great quality. Grapefruit martinis were incredible as well! Concierge was great, reception staff and waiting staff were all super lovely, accommodating and helpful. Spa is very relaxing, and wasn’t busy at all, we were able to use it the day we checked out as well. We’ll be back!

Wait time in restaurant was a bit long but still had a good time and food was excellent

View of Estuary was lovely. Restaurant food was amazing (as was the wine). Room was spacious and clean although a little warm but we slept with the window open which was great. Staff were great too.
