Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Cleaning letting it down, certainly our room, upon entry, we noticed a used tissue on the floor under the bedside table, toilet not cleaned even though there was a cleaned and sanitised notice on it, (previous occupants poo stains) dead spider sitting next to the folded flannels, cobwebs on the walls, low level too. It pains us to say this as the B&B and host were lovely and we would have given it 10/10 if it were not for the cleaning, it seriously let it down.
Location, lovely house, decent sized bedroom, comfortable, provided bottled water daily, the owners had clearly put a lot of thought and effort into providing a quality B&B

Nothing, would definitely stay again.
A lovely warm welcome from Bobby started a great stay at Space B&B. It is a calm and relaxing place to be, the beds really comfortable and the breakfast is fab! Short walk into town so the car (or in our case scooter!) can be left safely for you to enjoy Llandudno. Highly recommended.

Lovely B and B in a great location. The breakfast was excellent with a great choice of hot and cold food. Well stocked tea/ coffee tray in the bedroom. Very clean and reasonably priced. Lovely hosts . We had a fab stay and will be back.

What's not to like.
Bobby, gave us a very warm greeting upon arrival. Room was spotless & very comfortable . Breakfast was very good, with quality ingredients used. Would definitely stay here again. Space is located in a residential area, about a 10 min walk into town. Easy to get to & away from the noise of the town. Free Parking to the rear of the property - a real bonus.

Everything was great.
Breakfast was great and served in a separate dining room. You could have cereal, fruit, juice, coffee and tea, toast and a cooked breakfast. I had a very nice vegan cooked breakfast and was given oat milk for my cereal. The location is absolutely ideal as it is just 6 or so minutes walk into town. The tram to get up and down the Great Orm is a few minutes away. We never used our car while we were there as there was no need. Town is very accessible if you use a mobility scooter. I didn’t see a ramp into the foyer to park a scooter in the house, if needed, so it may need to be lifted up a few steps. The house is beautiful, with 2 lounges tastefully decorated and interesting names for each room, depicting the Indian Elements. Our room was super clean with a huge bathroom and a nice view. As this was a Victorian Manor House, the floors (3 of them) are only accessible by stairs. Parking is private and spacious at the back of the house. The host was lovely and made us feel very welcome. If we go back to Llandudno, we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a warm and welcome stay. Namaste to you and your loved ones

The hard chair in the room.
The building was kept with all the original features. Plenty of off street parking. Bobby was the perfect host. Breakfast hot and good. Room spotless and comfortable. Would certainly book again.

Can't think of anything, we even got a sea view.
The place was excellent in all aspects, very clean & all modern furniture & just the right size for a nice stay & very quiet. The Host ( Bobby) was brilliant & nothing any trouble. Check in & out & entry to Hotel & room easy & always got parking at hotel when we took the car out.
