Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.

External roadside side appearance could do with some uplifting decoration.
The room was comfortable and well equipped. Good menu selection for Breakfast and evening meal . The staff were helpful and friendly. Would stay again

It was all fine
We are familiar wth the hotel so it met expectations. It has huge confortable beds and a well-equipped bathroom. Breakfast menu has changed but is still more than adequate!

It was a little old fashioned
Breakfast was lovely,piping hot, varied & plentiful although the method of tea making could be better. Staff were very friendly & helpful and informative a good location to drop down into Bournenouth

Leak in Bathroom. pool of water on floor, I mopped it up but it came back overnight. We found it was not from basin drain but coming up through flooring. Reported it to a member of staff on morning of leaving who was going to look into it.
Breakfast was excellent - varied choice of continental of cooked, very friendly helpful staff

Room we had this time and last was clean & comfortable & perfect on the ground floor for the dog. But could do with a lick of paint to freshen it up. Also the only lights were one above the mirror by the door & a desk lamp on the table. No bedside lamps or even main centre light. Bit odd we felt.
Hotel is dog friendly, we had a ground floor room so it was handy for our little cocker spaniel. Room was clean and comfy but was a little tired.

The room was a little cramped and could benefit from a lick of paint.
Very good value. We were expecting to hear the road, but the bedrooms were at the back of the hotel and very quiet. We had a lovely view of the garden and countryside beyond and enjoyed watching the wild rabbits the next morning. The breakfast was very good and freshly cooked. We also had a table for an evening meal which again was well cooked and reasonably priced. Staff were extremely friendly.

We loved it and would definitely stay again.
Friendly greeting on arrival. Spacious room, spotless bedroom and bathroom. Had an evening meal on 2 nights. Good menu choice, food was very well presented, it was delicious. Breakfast choice was excellent, all freshly prepared. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming.

The room was very clean, bed comfortable. Bathroom very clean, bright and shower was so lovely. We had our dogs with us so were given a room that opened out onto a large green space which was brilliant for the dogs. Plenty of tea and coffee provided in the room.

Chef struggled with the breakfast on the Sunday morning. All took ages and the eggs were all hard. Knowing they had a wedding party staying that weekend, perhaps more staff for the breakfast service?
Stayed for a wedding - all really good. Nicely designed spaces including the room and bathroom. Very comfortable and a nice atmosphere in the public spaces. We had an evening meal on the night before the wedding which was also excellent.

Staff were excellent and accommodating, and very helpful, wee raced near by and would be back after the kitchen closed, they arranged for the chef to cook ours last thing and kept on a warm plate - we were so grateful for that

Beds are hard, and when staying at the front of the hotel noise from the main road though this time I remembered to book a room to the rear.
