Let cation was about a mile from the harbour, where the bus leaves. Fine if you enjoy a walk and have no mobility issues.

Equipped with everything a guest could need, very well thought out and the attention to detail was appreciated.

The host were excellent and extremely helpful. The venue had everything needed, it was on a short distance from the ferry and town, but felt like you were in the countryside The bed was super comfy and I slept like a baby. I ran an online meeting from the property and the wfi was excellent. Great stay

Some of the facilities didn't work as well as they could have eg a flickering light when turned on, or a bathroom heater not working. Minor issues that did not affect our overall stay at all.

Compact apartment with parking right outside. Small but didn't feel cramped. Within walking distance of Stromness, view across fields. Keys were in apartment, owner stayed nearby and met us.

Perched on top of the hill above Stromness, this was a great location with fantastic views across the country side. The host used a nice touch of having classical music playing when we arrived. It made for a lovely entry. One side of the apartment you could see fields and horses, the other side you could see a ruin of some sort. Very comfy with everything that you could need.

Water in the Shower has rather low pressure.

We loved the location--not far out of Stromness town center, with great views of surrounding farmland. Alexander was a friendly and helpful host who helped us get everything we needed. And the apartment itself was beautiful! A good amount of space, lovely decor, and a comfortable bed and couch.

There was nothing I did not like.

I loved the personality of Stromness Apartments! Just little touches, like the art work and photos on the walls and the vase of fresh wildflowers in the kitchen window. It's out of town within a walkable distance, and is very quiet and peaceful. Alexander was the perfect host, and fun to talk to. This will be the first place I'll look to stay on my next trip to the Orkneys.

Nothing, this was an excellent apartmrtment.

Alexander was a perfect host, the apartment was very clean and comfortable. Tastefully decorated and the location was excellent, close to the town of Stromness but lovely country location, quiet and good views. Very good value for money and close to all the historic destinations therefore an ideal base for out stay in Orkney. Thank you Alexander, we would love to stay with you again.⁰

A few extra things in the kitchen would have been helpful e.g. oven gloves, cork screw, potato peeler and scissors

the house was clean and tidy and was comfortable. It was easy to walk into Stromness

the only way to improve would be to have black out curtains in the bedroom to aid sleep during the summer long periods of daylight.

The sun comes up very early and thicker curtains in the bedroom would make for a better sleep.

Lovely location, a little way up the hill from the harbour. Lovely and quiet.
