Location was terrific, quiet & central.

I knew that check-in was @15:00 but I didn't realise that the pub where we had to pick up the keys did not open until 11:00. The cleaner could pay a little more attention. Not only the usual dirty dishes, but bathroom, lounge not our back together- (assuming it was a sofa bed) refrigerator also needed a wipe over - No featowel to dry dishes. *Note-room 1 is at the entrance gate to the property, so all guests need to walk past the gate latch is quite noisy and right outside the master bedroom and lounge room room with double bed only has a 1/2 cupboard for hanging (no draws) and what space was available was taken up with extra bedding.

Could have done with instructions for the heating. Think it needs servicing! Bathroom door handle fell off on first attempt. The property was supposed to be for 4 adults but there was really only seating for 3 - the settee was not big enough to seat 3 adults unless they were extremely thin!qae

Small bed for two people. Lowest quality of soap/shampoo possible. Not at all value for money... 160 gbp for an improvised room with a small double bed is an absolute rip off.

A negative for me was the very bright lighting in the sitting room and kitchen. Take sunglasses if you're light-sensitive. We just used the lamp and left the main lights off.

We stayed in House 5. The double bedroom is upstairs - very comfy bed, the twin room is downstairs. The Mews is lovely and quiet yet so close to the City's attractions. We collected the keys from a pre-arranged collection point at a sister property. We didn't use the kitchen, but it all looked fine. Two TVs (both worked), one in the bedroom. Ironing board, iron and fan - which I assume all work.

I'm not convinced it was cleaned thoroughly before our stay. We also found stale milk in the fridge!

Great convenient location, and a good space for a small apartment, and it's ideal it had 2 toilets.

We were not provided with a bedsheet for the sofa-bed, and one of us ended up sleeping on the cushions instead.

Needed a good clean on stains on downstairs carpet, sofa and upstairs bedroom curtains had certain stains on :/ Shower holder loose, easily came off from shower head pressure And upstairs bedroom doors would loosely close probably from previous breakage Front door (apartment 4) handle very loose to open with key

Not very clean especially the floors. Contact number didn’t respond to messages before stay and didn’t connect when tried to call during stay, phone number listed possibly wrong? Only one set of keys per property and bit disorganised process for collecting/unclear for how to drop off. Intercom didn’t work so people had to leave property to let in if didn’t have the one set of keys. There was a key safe at property but wasn’t in use.

Lack of kitchenware. We were 2 couples but only 3 cups, 2 small plates, 3 wine glasses in kitchen..We had to go out and collect extra cups so we could all have a cup of tea as they were too busy to bring to us!

Standard double beds were a bit small and the upstairs bathroom at no.3 felt a bit dated.

Location was really convenient in a lovely part of the town and felt secure behind the locked entrance and coded gate. Despite its central location, the property was quiet. The staff at the City Arms were really friendly and helpful and the cleaner was really friendly and helpful too. The courtyard was very pretty and provided a useful outdoor area. Although compact, the kitchen/living room/downstairs toilet were very practical. Lots of towels, spare bedding and soap/shampoo made our stay very comfortable. The sofa bed was decent and very useful.

Downstairs bedroom needsmore light, upstairs flood creacks so badly it wakes you up downstairs. No place to blow-dry your hair in front of the mirror .

Booked for a family of 4 but there was only sleep space and bedding for 3 people! I had to sleep on sofa cushions on the floor using towels as blankets! Long-standing leek coming from bathroom which went out onto living room floor. Upstairs windows leek into the property when it rains. A dummy was left between the sofa and lamp so not thoroughly checked. It had cobwebs and a dead spider on it so doubt it was from only 1 visit ago.

We faced some racist comments as soon as we got there. This ruined our stay and we asked to be refunded for the second night so we could stay elsewhere, however I got no response so we were forced to stay in order not to lose out on our money for both apartments.

Had everything we needed for a short stay. We’ll equipped and clean. Sofa bed very uncomfortable and stairs so creaky to the extent that my baby woke up from her sleep!

I feel that this could have been even better by informing that the sofa bed is only a single I was informed that this property could sleep 6 people, however one family member slept on an air bed that we luckily took with us. The property doesn’t have Wi-Fi or Netflix and for a family staying it would have been good to have this, also for researching abilities once at the house as we couldn’t look up online what was near us without using all our data.

The value of this property cannot be matched it was a lovely find and I’m so glad that we stayed here. The property is well decorated and feels quite luxurious with lovely bedding and towels it also has all the essentials that you would need in the kitchen etc.

3 of us staying at the property only 2 seater sofa had to fetch a patio chair in (2 of these ) . The floor was very soft under foot near the sink also in the down stairs wc ., trip hazard . Went to the pub on arrival approx 12.30 told we were far too early and you phone when ready ,ok . Room ready just before 3 pick up keys told to phone if we needed any thing .No note in the property to explain things , cleaner in next door had to ask her where extra bedding for 3rd person . Had to text for Wi-Fi code .There was a few tea bags and coffee sachets ,4 little pots of milk.
