Although the staff were polite there was no energy, barely raised a smile, at breakfast didn’t even get a good morning and had to chase the young girl to get more coffee put through filter, not very attentive. Older man I presume duty manager about didn’t acknowledge any customers at all that we saw. It’s a shame as this hotel really smart.

Art deco old aerodrome very unusual and really cool. Comfortable rooms again in art deco style, lovely restaurant and bar overlooking the aerodrome. Simple menu but well done. Nice breakfast

Hotel decor a little dated and floorboards were very creaky! We could hear upstairs moving around and was very aware the room below would hear us as well as waking each other up in the night. No lift available. Ramps in and out of the building were very slippy when wet and did result in an injury to one member of our party although staff were very accomodating when we mentioned this on checkout but definitely something to be wary of.

Very convenient for a wedding reception taking place in Hangar One. Reasonably priced and room was clean. Bed was comfortable enough.

I stayed in room 224. The room was very pleasant but there was only two power sockets and both needed replacing. The plugs were very loose in the sockets and they only worked when wiggled arounf a lot!!

Fantastic art deco features. Lots of interesting photos and memorabilia. Felt like we had stepped back in time. Food very good and staff attentive. Attention to detail down to the music played in restaurant in the evening. Was lovely to visit a hotel that is unique.

One of the chairs in the deluxe room could have been an art deco arm chair rather than second functional office type chair. But that was about getting to pure excellence.

I hate with a passion a shower curtain! And when it just clings to you it is infuriating! TV is exceptionally small! Only one double socket at the desk and no others anywhere. No iron or board

The TV in the bedroom was tiny!!
