Super place, the staff here are really excellent and the best part of the stay. Everyone was both friendly and professional, the standard of customer care is about the best I ever experienced and far beyond what you get normally in this kind of accommodation. The rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable and apart from a bit of noise in the evening from patrons in the bar and restaurant it's really peaceful. Food is really excellent, especially when you pick more local options. While not cheap it's not at all expensive given the quality, care and service solid 10/10. Breakfast in particular is exceptional, even got in some marmite for me which was a lovely touch. WiFi, parking and general facilities are top! I think the only topic would be if you have mobility issues the stairs up to rooms are pretty steep. Overall I cannot find any faults at all, a really great experience and can only recommend it.

THE ENSUITE IN MY ROOM WAS VERY VERY SMALL TO THE POINT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN DANGEROUS TO AN OLDER NOT AS ADGILE PERSON , CLEAN BUT TOO SMALL .

The bathroom was super cramped and a squeeze to get in and out of. Being above a pub, there is of course noise into the night which died down shortly after 11pm each night. The pillows were rather hard and lumpy and not the most comfortable though the bed itself was fine.

Nice sized room with high ceilings. Nice bed with hot chic and other tea stuff provided. Good sized car park and the pub/restaurant serve very nice food (best nachos I have ever had). Staff are friendly.

Everything, it had a lovely friendly atmosphere and the food was great. Rooms were comfortable with everything we needed. Bathroom a little bit small but it did what it needed to do. We will stay again. The lady who served us every morning I can’t remember her name was great. She answered and advised us of things to do also.

This is a lovely place, warm atmosphere, great food and the staff were lovely (ALL of them). We stayed here for two nights to visit our daughter xx

I wouldn’t change a thing, the vibe atmosphere and overall experience was exceptional.

The Inn was close to an inspection I was undertaking from work and was in a nice quiet location. The staff made me feel so welcome and the food was out of this world. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Car parking onsite was is a must for me. Excellent value for money. Will return again if in the area.

Breakfast didn’t start till 7.30 and I had to leave for work at 7.30 (they did give me a sandwich to take) but as nothing small (like croissant) to grab with a coffee it wouldn’t suit those rushing to work.

The room was a bit cold. Noise of kitchen extractor fan in that room was obtrusive.

The badger suite was spacious and beautifully decorated. The property had ample parking. Breakfast was delicious.
