We had stayed before and enjoyed the standard of the accommodation and the welcome of the staff. Being the only guests on Easter Sunday night we enjoyed the friendly reception from Felix at the bar. We'll come again.

Having to go get a take away. Probably my fault for not checking what was included.

I couldn't fault the room at all. It was spacious, clean & warm. Had the usual things you'd expect to have in a room, like tv, kettle. The bed was a king sized with a comfy mattress and crisp clean linen. As for the bathroom, it was a large shower which I love. Towels were clean & crisp. I had been allocated room 1, which is in a block separate from the Inn itself. The room is in the loft area of the block, so stone steps were used to gain entry. A spot light is activated at night with movement. I'd arrived too late for food on the evening I arrived, so had to go back to Leominster for a takeaway. And there was no breakfast. Fortunately I had "full English" at the local airfield. Apart from getting my room key, I didn't step foot in the Inn. Staff were friendly. There is a large car park & the wi-fi worked.

Heating wasn’t working in the 3 rooms we had !!

Unfortunately the pub closed at 6pm, and there was no food available - it being Sunday. As we only arrived at 5.40, this was a bit of a disaster! This situation was not highlighted in the original marketing for the place.

Nice part of the world - and we loved the cafe at the aerodrome nearby as recommended by the pub employee. Good firm mattress too.

This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed here , the rooms are separate to the pub which is nice . I was in room 1 upstairs , rooms are well furnished the only thing that could make them better would be a comfy chair to sit in , however the furniture is nice ensuite is spacious with a large shower . Food is lovely and well priced .

Everything about the venue was perfect i had a function to attend that was literally 4 minutes away, the room was lovely, clean and the perfect size.

Room was cold and couldn't get heating working. Breakfast not served here (this is not made clear on Booking.com site) but we were given a recommendation to go to the local airfield cafe which serves super meals, including breakfast.

An old inn situated in a very pretty village. Clean room , comfy beds, good quality furniture, lots of storage. Rooms in a separate barn type building with beams- lots of character yet modern. Easy parking and dog friendly. Very friendly staff in pub which serves lovely meals. Seems to be a well supported village pub with welcoming and friendly customers.

Although we Paid for Bed and Breakfast, no Breakfast was available. The Bateman Arms does not provide Breakfast and we told to refer this matter to Booking.com who had charged us for this package.This factor has influenced our ratings.

Thought not a complaint l would have liked a bigger bath towel. Breakfast was not a concern for me,however it could be for families and business people. I do believe breakfast will be available in the future.

Although breakfast is not yet on the menu,there is complimentary drinks and biscuits. There is a menu for lunch and evening meals.
