The shower was not good. First day cold and then on in, after it had been looked at, intermittently hot and cold. Not an easy, relaxing shower to start the day

It was ok though no gluten free bread available. Tea/coffee would be better at the table for those who have difficulty walking

No restaurant for an evening meal. We were travelling on motorcycles and we don't ride in the dark. We had to walk about a mile on a busy road with no paths to get to the nearest pub. Fortunately, we managed to persuade a member of the pub staff to take us back in their car. It would have been dangerous to walk in the pitch black of night.

Nothing not to like really, perhaps the bathroom would benefit from a makeover but nothing to stop me returning.

The location was perfect for my needs. The food was very good and the staff couldn't be more helpful. My room was fine and comfortable.

The lighting in the room isn't the best. The bedside lamps were brighter than the main light which wasn't great as the light near the mirror was limited.

Friendly welcome and had our room ready early as we had to shoot off before the normal check in times. The beds are super comfy as well.

Parking by the house is not really guaranteed during pubs opening hours. So lots of activity in the parking area Some electrical issues in the room aswell. Otherwise a solid 9 out of 10.

Very good value, nice old house, cosy pub, very friendly staff, a bath in the room, clean! Beddings didnt smell like chemistry lab- just clean and fresh.

Character, cleanliness and comfort. Menu was not overly extensive, but superbly cooked, tasteful and well presented. The waiting staff were polite and on hand. The general manager was very attentive and pleasure to interact with. I would definitely come again.

Ensuite needed updating as it was old and a bit shoddy. However it all worked well.

Food was excellent at both breakfast and dinner with a wide choice. Large portions and hot. Quick and attentive service. Room was quiet, large and airy with a lovely view over to the ancient church. Staff were delightful, helpful and friendly.

Bath needs to be changed past its best, and a removable anti slip mat would be better than the permanent ones stuck down. Drinks are quite expensive, and desserts are not worth the price.

The hotel was quite noisy with the creaky floors and bathroom fans being quite loud.

The breakfast was excellent in terms of the amount, quality, wait time and brilliant staff. The bar food was quite pricey but nice too. The staff on reception were incredibly helpful throughout my stay.

All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We had a drink in the bar after we had checked in and the locals made us feel welcome and were very friendly We had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious and well presented. Breakfast was also very good

There were no working lights going up to second floor and the carpet needed a vac!

Breakfast was excellent. I appreciated being able to eat in the restaurant even though I arrived at 8.45.
