Slightly noisy late at night from guests up & down the corridor. Some breakfast items had ran out.

The pub itself is spotless, warm & welcoming! Staff were very pleasant, evening meal was sooo good, the waiter who served us was so very pleasant. Our room was very comfortable & roomy! Great to see bottled water too!

We loved it all . there was live music one night, which unfortunately we missed due to such a busy day in Stratford upon avon .yet we did not hear a thing from our room.out of our 3days the only time there was some noise from the downstairs bar was on the Saturday night some of the locals was a little loud & could be heard from our room above our tv ,but it all went quiet at 11.30pm.also tv speaker was distorted but to be fair to the managment we never reported it. but im sure they would have replaced the tv if they had been notified.

We had a wonderful time at the blue boar. fantastic location beautiful setting & ambiance. The food was superb.out door seating area with heating & music & very friendly efficient staff team.

Needs a little bit of updating in rooms and stairwell but balance that with a very reasonable £60 for bed AND breakfast with toiletries in room.

Close to the venue I was at next day. Good value for money. Tasty dinner if a bit pricey. Very obliging owner/manager served me dinner even tho I arrived just after kitchen closed. Very tasty breakfast.

Stairs were awkward to climb as it's an old building. Breakfast was plentiful, but I didn't like the seasoning on everything, so I just had cereal and toast. We had an evening meal on Saturday, very busy, and it was really noisy. The lady did apologise for it being so noisy, but it wasn't her fault.

Very clean and comfortable room. Accommodation and the restaurant were really good. Perfect for Stratford-upon-Avon and sightseeing.

Check in time was 14:00. After a long journey we arrived at 15:30, were given a room key, went to the room but it was not ready and we were told by the cleaner it would be between 1-2 hours before we could go in. Initially we were not compensated in any way and were not very happy, but afer pursuing this with bar staff and then the manager we were offered another room which was bigger and better, but did have to still wait around 45 minutes.

This is a delightful traditional country pub. The bedrooom and bathroom were very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The evening meal in the restaurant was excellent, as was breakfast. Great value for money. Despite the issue with the room not being ready upon arrival, we are prepared to assume this is a one-off and would still recommend this property for all the good things it has to offer.

We were greeted by a really friendly member of staff when we checked in however there was no one around to check us out in the morning, except one staff member (we assumed the manager by his attire) who left the restaurant area when he saw we came in. We had to leave the room key just on the bar and leave as we had somewhere else to be.

The room was clean and cosy with fantastic bathroom facilities. The overall feel of the hotel was so lovely, we definitely want to return and have dinner in the restaurant too!

The stairs to the rooms were narrow and twisting with threadbare carpet on the top layer. I have. I idea how you would get a suitcase up there. I struggled with a bag. Dirty cups put out for breakfast. This happened more than once and the “replacements” were dirty as well. In the end the waiter had to find a couple of mugs which were also dirty and he had to clean them. The cooked breakfast tasted like it had been cooked on a dirty grill. It was t burnt but had an unpleasant taste

Bar and restaurant had a good atmosphere. Varied menu choices in the restaurant. Food was good. Large comfortable room, great bathrooms.

The reason we arrived right at the beginning of breakfast service was because the amount of noise reaching our room meant it was difficult to sleep past 6.30am. Banging doors and loud voices plus vehicles passing on the adjacent road meant it wasn't the most peaceful room we've ever stayed in.

The restaurant was busy on Saturday evening but that was obviously a good sign and the food and service didn't disappoint. We were in the same room for breakfast first thing the following morning and, apart from the somewhat hilarious "What, there's someone down already!" overheard comment, the meal was very agreeable.

The breakfast wasn't great, it wasn't terrible, but wasn't great. The bacon was so hard, none of us could eat it. It wasn't crispy, just very hard, beans were cold. But service was fantastic.

Travelled over 200 miles to stay here, a family of 4. A beautiful building with lots of original features. The scenery outside is also beautiful. Staff were fantastic, asked for a cocktail and was made a cocktail called love on the beach, don't know what was in it but absolutely stunning. The blue boar should make this their signature cocktail 👌 atmosphere was lovely, rooms were very spacious and lovely. Everything was pristine.
