    There was nothing to dislike.

The Bothy was a truly beautiful place to stay, a lovely warm house, underfloor heating, fireplace with firewood very generously provided, and such space! All absolutely immaculate and so tastefully done.

    Nothing to mention

Excellent location as a base to visit the main tourist attractions of Northern Ireland. Such a lovely property too, well appointed with plenty of space and everything we could need. The hosts were welcoming & available if required.

I met Berni on arrival and although the property was open she came across and gave tour of the property to all of us. This was our first visit to N. Ireland and we had a great time. We visited several National Trust properties, Belfast and the Mountains of Mourne during the stay. Charlie also provided a route to explore Donegal and that was excellent, somewhere we would love to revisit and explore the Wild Atlantic Way further.

The Bothy was absolutely spectacular and we loved every second of our stay. The views were amazing and Bernie and Charlie were so lovely, really friendly and helpful. We went out exploring during the day then had cosy nights in front of the roaring open fire. Really couldn't have wished for more, perfect in every way !!

Friendly welcome as we arrived. Property was immaculate, so spacious and cosy. Basics (milk, butter, coffee, bread and home-made jam) provided, which was a lovely little touch. Rooms were amazing, loved the open area outside the upstairs bedroom

Beautifully and skillfully restored building in pristine condition with comfy couches looking out over incredible views. How do they get the beds so comfortable? It was like sleeping on a cloud. Nothing to complain about everything was 10 out of 10.

The owners attention to detail on the property and towards the guests. Comfy beds, fantastic scenery, basic bread, milk and coffee waiting for guests when they arrive is a nice touch, fire prepped and ready to go, underfloor heating on so Bothy nice and cosy when settling down after 8hr journey. Wonderful place!

    Nothing

The Bothy is wonderful - spacious, characterful, fully equipped and with a huge picture window overlooking the valley (and sheep). Bernie and Charlie (the owners) were very helpful and hospitable and handy if needed living just across the road. Rousky has a very central position in the middle of Northern Ireland so it's easy to explore the whole country if desired plus it's an easy drive across to beautiful Donegal. Rousky is in the Sperrin hills, which are lovely too. We had a very relaxed week and would definitely come back to stay in the Bothy and do more exploring of Northern Ireland.

The Bothy is a lovely and relaxing place to stay with beautiful views from the conservatory with a large window looking out to fields and hills. Charlie and Bernie are lovely people thank you very much for the fresh eggs and potatoes. Its very central for NI we travelled to all over NI in our week, but be sure to visit the local Sperrin mountains especially the Gortin Forest lovely walks and make sure to drive round the forest circuit. The cottage is very comfortable and mostly peaceful the beds are very comfy. On my photos you will see the back of The Bothy from across the fields and from the garden and road.

Tricky property to exit from, needs a mirror across from driveway. Water pressure meant showers weren’t as enjoyable as they could be. Lack of wifi could be an issue for people who still need access to online

underfloor heating, great job in the cooler weather. Main beds were very comfy. Appliances top notch. Very well soundproofed. The views are just stunning. Very secure property with generous and caring hosts. having two sitting rooms made for perfect peaceful morning coffee with views away from children eating breakfast. Well supplied fire was a much appreciated gift.
