Excellent location for our stay. Staff were very friendly and rooms were comfortable although could do with a lick of paint. Breakfast was lovely with a good choice and the staff went out of there way to make sure you had everything you wanted. Would definately stay again next time we are in the area.

There wasn't anything I disliked but if I am being picky the hotel is tired in places and could do with a lick of paint and a new stair carpet. The reception area could do with a bit of a de clutter.I also had a few hairs in the bathroom/bath tub. Pillows a little hard.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Ample parking and bus stop right outside. Large bedroom with lovely large bath towels. I felt really comfortable there as a solo traveller. I would stay again. Really loved the use of a nearby gym/spa.

Room was quite small but the bathroom was huge which went a long way to mitigate any feeling of being cramped.

Always a friendly welcome and staff who can't do enough for you. Excellent cooked breakfast and decent bar food.

We got told as we entered the bar for the meal that the restaurant was now fully booked (even though we booked) and they were to be relegated to sit in the bar and have dinner. I think this was a last minute mass booking into the restaurant but to be told as soon as we walked in for our evening meal all dressed up was a little disheartening.

Only thing was it was very Loud - for some reason I could hear every word from the room below us!! Didn’t help with sleeping.

Only issue I had was WiFi was not very good in my room but I was at the very top of the building but had a good phone signal so just used that instead.

Everything was great, staff very polite and helpful. Room was lovely, plenty of room and food for dinner and breakfast was excellent.

Just the door to our room didn't close that well. Needed so TLC

The room was quant, nicely old fashioned. private rooms as they were barn conversions. Heating took a while to sort but warm enough when sorted and there was an extra heater in the room when we arrived which came in handy when we first got there. We ate an evening meal and this was very well presented and really enjoyable. We really appreciated that they we were still able to get a meal considering that they had a wedding there earlier, too. Good nights sleep in very comfortable bed. Breakfast was also equally enjoyable with good range of choice considering one of our group is a veggie! Definitely filled our bellies to the required amount, and a bit more. Staff were all extremely attentive and very pleasant. Especially the 2 young gentlemen in the evening where nothing was too much trouble. They absolutely went above and beyond with lovely banter and smiles even at the very end of the night. When they must of been truly tired considering they had had 2 weddings back to back.

The only thing that we found wrong was the bed it was very uncomfortable so we didn't get a very good night's sleep

Hotel sign outside our room was swinging in the wind which kept disturbing our sleep all night, needs grease on fittings.

Only a minor point - there were a few places within the room and hotel that needed the decoration touched up. Otherwise the hotel was great.

Bathroom was a bit dated. Diner was nice enough, but they were disorganised not all meals came at the same time. Staff were helpful though.

Bit of a wait at breakfast, breakfast came before the cup of tea ordered, but staff sorted it with a friendly smile , multi talented staff who were very busy, perhaps short staffed?
