The breakfast chef did not turn up for work so the breakfast we expected was not available.

Shower was in the bath but not too much of an issue. Creaky floorboards above our room at end and early beginning of the shifts. No road noise though.

Friendly informative staff both for hotel and bar/restaurant. Very welcoming too. Comfortable bed.

Obvious water damage in the building that hadnt been repaired, bathrooms need a little update.

We stayed here before a flight from Gatwick, great location (only 10-15 mins from the airport). The attached pub was so nice and the room was comfortable, clean and cosy. Corridors and stairs were quite narrow and steep so it was difficult to get our luggage in and out of the room, but as we were travelling the next day you wouldn't usually need 2 huge suitcases to stay here! We would actually stay here again for a quiet break, the place was lovely.

This pub needs a revamp, the chair covers are disgusting, dirty and ripped, I was reluctant to sit down ..the food was pretty average, room was ok, very small but adequate for an overnight stay... but certainly not worth the money we paid ... Next time we'll book an extra nights parking and stay at the airport

Handy for a pre Gatwick early morning flight Food looked good in the pub If you use satnav to get to Gatwick in the morning it might take you on a tour of the country lanes to get there.ignore it and go back to the HorleyM23 junction

The room was a little dusty down beside the beds and behind the bathroom door. In the room they give you a coffee machine but they didn't supply any coffee pods for the Machine. The light outside the room was not working so was very hard to find the Keyhole.

The location for me was great, the staff were very friendly.

We were ensured we would have early check in at 12, but didn’t get checked into our room until 2 PM. We were planning on heading into the city but due to the timing we couldn’t do so.

It was a quaint bed and breakfast with a pub! The energy at the restaurant was amazing and everyone headed in for lunch!

The room we stayed in needed serious maintenance. Although we asked for the 2 rooms to be together they were on different floors. This was not too much of a problem for us but be aware that this request maybe ignored!

It was very convienent for the airport. We had problems with our car and arrived later than we expected. However this was not a problem. We did not eat there so cannot comment.

As can be expected from an older building, there wasn’t much internal noise insulation. It’s obviously a popular spot with travellers heading to and from the airport at all times of the night so we were woken a couple of times by doors slamming and people dragging their luggage down the stairs. Still a great spot though and would certainly consider staying again - just bring ear plugs!

Lovely room and bathroom and a really convenient spot if you’re looking to travel to Gatwick Airport. We arrived on a Sunday evening and the roast in the pub downstairs was delicious!!

Had room on ground floor and all other guests had to go past us. Too much noise right through the night by other guests. Pub is ideally situated for Gatwick Airport so guests were on the move right through the night Staircase was very creaky.
