Unfortunately being built in with an Indian restaurant, , all you can smell in your bedroom is food. Such a shame they are no longer in the original building.

Unfortunately there was lots of mould in the room we stayed in, all round the shower, bathroom window and bedroom window. The plumbing needs work as every time the flush was pulled it made a very loud noise for about 5 minutes. Decor needs updating.

The location was perfect, right opposite the beach front and the arcades and attractions. The price was fantastic. The staff were very lovely and the man who checked us in let us check in two hours early and carried our suitcase up to our room for us. The bed was very comfortable and had a decent size tv in the room with all the smart features like Netflix & Disney.

The hotel is undergoing refurbishment but we were aware of this at booking & it really didn’t affect the quality of our stay.

Shower wasnt working well no pressure on shower. Did report it but was a bit late for the plumber to come sort it out.

Great room got upgraded to a family size room. Very friendly staff.

The heat in the room, despite setting the temperature to 19°c I woke in the night boiling as it had reached 22°c, the air from the air con unit was damp. The pillows were a tad flat.

The room was modern, great view, bed was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room was a little cold however I’m unsure if that was due to the weather or not knowing where the heating was!

Really good location and right on the beachfront which is always a dream! Unfortunately we didn’t come for the beach however but regardless, close to the nightlife and by the shops, Harbour round the corner too so you have all the amenities you need

We had a lovely room with sea view, but it was very stark and lacked a comfortable feel. The bathroom needed a shelf at least to accommodate your toiletries etc. no toilet roll holder, and had to ask for hooks to be put on the back of the door as nowhere to hang wet towels. The bedroom had no drawers for clothes, just two small ones in the dressing table, only a small hanging space in the cupboard. A nice beach scene picture on the bare walls would have been nice, and the carpet was badly stained.

Loved the location, very friendly staff, comfortable bed.

Building is a little dated but we understand the current owners haven't been there very long, however a few extra curtain hooks to hang the curtains properly wouldn't go amiss, such a small thing but would enhance the room no end.

Great location and such a friendly welcome from Mark on reception. Fantastic value for money. On arrival we were upgraded to a family room which was a nice surprise, lovely sea view.

The [almost] in my likes was because the excellent en suite shower room did not have towel rails.

The room (Rm 101) was spacious, overlooked the seafront and extremely well equipped. The large shower was excellent. The room itself was [almost] perfect. Of particular note were the specialist reading lights beside the bed (often missing in the best hotels). The picture shows view from our window. The serve yourself continental breakfast was fine but not exciting. We stayed on a Friday night and on returning to our hotel after dinner out found a superb jazz party going on in the bar led by a lady who performs there every Friday evening.

The room was quite cold, and we didn't realise until next morning the heater had to be turned on at the wall first!

Very friendly and obliging duty manager, Mark. We were offered an upgrade to a room with seaview, but as we were going out for the evening soon after we arrived, we declined the generous offer.

Shower was a bit difficult to use: burst of sudden very hot water every 15 seconds even though setting was on low.

Great location, just by the beach, all the shops nearby. Room was comfortable and cleaned daily. Very polite and friendly staff. Thank you
