Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNothing! Everything was perfect.
Lovely host who gave us lots of information about buses into/out of town and where to have breakfast. Bus stop across the road which was super convenient for getting to/from Bath. Very comfortable room with lots of added extras, which was lovely. Breakfast down the road in the Hub was good value, plenty of choice and very nice. Had a great stay and would recommend, would also be more than happy to return.

United KingdomNo breakfast or any other food, which is ashame because the pub downstairs looks very nice but seems to be closed most of the time. You can walk down the road to a cafe that's part of a new housing development but that didn't appeal, especially in bad weather.
Quaint and cosy decor, we really liked the chocolate treats left in the room, which was quiet although on a busy road. Well located for walks to Prior Park and then into Bath centre, also lots of frequent buses.

United KingdomOur room was amazing. It was sooo cute and this is probably the cleanest place I have ever stayed!!!!! Our room and bathroom were spotless (we chose the one with an external private bathroom and this was just across the hallway). The landlady Louise was fantastic. She could not have done more to help. She had even downloaded and printed out the bus timetable for the days we were staying. The bus stop is literally across the road (a minutes walk) and the bus takes about 8 mins to get you into the middle of town. Louise was not serving food at the time we went but had printed out a menu from the local cafe (which again is literally across the road) and that was sooo good. There is absolutely nothing bad to say about this property/location/facilities. I would 100% definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again.

United KingdomThe location was absolutely perfect, regular buses from pretty much the front door into the centre. The property was really lovely - quirky, fun decor, incredible bed. The host was wonderful, she had prepared bus timetables and a menu for the local eatery, explained the quick and easy route into town, left some lovely treats in the room for us and was warm and welcoming, would 100% recommend!

United KingdomThe only negative was the shower could have been better and more powerful bit it was clean.
The location was great as there was a bus stop very close by, with regular buses into the city. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. There were plenty of tea and coffee in the room and we had a can of gin and biscuits on arrival. The host was very friendly and had even printed off a bus timetable and menu for a cafe that's down the road.

United KingdomNothing negative, but high season prices - understandable given that a rugby weekend coincided with Xmas market. Still better value than anywhere else we found in Bath.
All good - lovely comfortable room, warm and cosy. Very convenient for transport into the city. Generous snacks (!) and a plentiful supply of hot drink supplies (tea bags, coffee and particularly the little milk containers). Free parking! Reasonable breakfast available 5 minutes walk away.

United KingdomNot an issue for us but if you want to be somewhere with lots of bars and restaurants around you need to travel into Bath as the bar only opens Friday evening and does not offer food.
A comfortable, warm, quiet, large room, which was not only extremely clean but had loads of thoughtful touches, such as crisps, chocolate and biscuits. The host was fabulous and extremely helpful with bus routes and information on the local cafe. A well placed location with a return bus to the city centre every 20 mins at only £3.60 return.
