Would be better if they served breakfast, we ended up at McDonald’s down the road.

We arrived very late at 10.30, it was easy to find and a comfortable sleep (although I forgot to turn the radiators down so was a tad warm!)

Just a personal opinion for me but noway complaining as our stay was lovely Thought check in of 4.30 was very late, we travel a lot, never had that late a check in and was tired on arrival wanting to freshen up , grab a brew in the comfort of our room rather than sitting in the bar/resteraunt area as we arrived at 3.30 after spending as much time as we could in Ripon and not wanting to eat out (we wanted to give the carvery a go) and did not want to just arrive, eat feeling tired and travel wary then check in to our room, 3.30 would of been a far better check in time for us personally

The bed was massive, great view, biscuits in the hospitality tray, good TV viewing choices, friendly staff, could not fault the room and staff The carvery mash , Yorkshire pud, gravy and parsnips on carvery were all nice . Good check out Love the later check out time but still left at 9, was nice to have option if needed it. parking good. Good heating /lighting in bedroom and furnished nicely . Would definitely recommend and stay here again if passing this way.

Lovely, clean and in a good location. We stayed here a night to do some park run tourism at Fountains Abbey and it was perfectly situated. We all had a good nights sleep ☺️

There is nothing to dislike whatsoever!

Absolutely wonderful Room, so comfortable. This will be my first choice whenever staying in the area. I cant put in a dislike comment box that the Bar is only open Thursday to Sunday as that would be a preference to eat there and not a dislike, so all the more reason to return!

Bathroom could benefit from another towel rail and a table. Only place to put toiletries was on the windowsill.

The bed was a bit soft but that’s personal preference and the WiFi wasn’t the best in the world but was expected a little bit in the rural setting. (Something we aren’t use to)

It was perfect location on where we needed to be. The staff were excellent could not fault them in anyway shape or form. Helped you in anyway possible.

Bit of a stiff neck from the pillows, no heater in the bathroom, a little road noise in room on the front

The carvery was excellent, which we ordered on arrival. We have eaten there many times before. The room was very comfortable with everything we needed and the beds and bedding were spotless and comfy too.

Lovely comfortable bed in a large room. Large bathroom and good shower. Such a friendly welcome. We had stayed there 7 yrs before. Same owners and same great standard. Great carvery!

Bed mattress was softer than I'm used to, however it didn't stop me getting a full nights sleep.

Friendly and attentive staff. Clean, well decorated and equipped rooms. Really nice atmosphere in the bar/restaurant that served an absolutely cracking meal! Great location with easy access and ample parking.
