Pool was quite small and gents changing room needs maintenance.

Nice hotel and decent room and good bed. Breakfast was good and I always like haggis on the menu. I used the pool which is nice to have but which you have pay for which seemed odd. Gents changing facilities were OK but 2 showers didn't work and 1 had no gel. Jacuzzi didn't work on one day either.

I forgot my sleep bunnies in my bed and called the same day to ask them to keep them until I came back but they lost them by the time I got back!

The staff are very professional, which is good, but could have been a bit more friendly.

DoubleTree exceeded its standards. The room/bathroom was very clean, beds were very comfortable. The place is centrally located so very close to shopping and restaurants. The breakfast was very good with a lot of variety. Parking is available at the basement with a charge of £15 per day.

The prices were ridiculous. You don’t notify additional swim costs until your confirmation comes through that you have booked. Furthermore, the swimming pool is extremely small and then part of the pool is blocked off for swimming lessons. For a large glass of wine you are charging £10. We literally sat down and reviewed the menu and decided to go elsewhere! I don’t believe in overpaying - it’s just greed!

    Property was lovely and clean.

Lighting quite poor - more mood lighting than anything. Shower is a waterfall - not a lot of pressure and takes a while to get really hot. Just hair shampoo and conditioner provided. Ordered a few sides when we arrived - they were not value for money. The mac and cheese - warm pasta with a bit of cheese on top, triple cooked chips had been kept warm and not crispy like described.

Room was large and spacious. Great spacious lifts - meaning not having to wait for one. Good quality offering at breakfast. Check out was easy.

The use of pool should be included when paying to stay at the hotel. I feel guests should not have to pay to use facilities. Had a child with me and had to pay each time using the pool, never had to pay at other hotels in my experience.

Breakfast was average. Location was good, near the shops which we wanted to do.

Swimming pool was extremely small, and extremely busy and half the tiny pool was taken up by lessons. Changing facilities were not ideal, floor was soaking going in and cooking out. No option atall for private changing.

Room was lovely and clean and cookies on arrival was a nice touch.

Although I didn't mind paying additionally to use the swimming pool and hot tub I did feel this should have been a one off payment instead of each time you wanted to use the facility. Ideally this could have been free and included within the room price.

Very large modern spacious rooms with an excellent shower. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Having a swimming pool and hot tub was an excellent facility which drew me to picking the hotel and was a lovely temperature.

Our room had no fridge, which is an inconvenient if you want to keep your extra drinks in the room. There was nothing attractive, looking out our window, as there was only a car park and empty street corner.

The hotel is in the city centre which is convenient for public transport use and getting to attractions.

Our room was both spacious and elegantly furnished. And, spotlessly clean. Breakfast had a huge choice of options and all the food was excellent. This hotel is perfectly situated in the centre of Glasgow with easy access to the M8. Having its own parking is a huge bonus.

No conditioner in room and obviously didn’t discover this until in shower having washed hair! None of the bottles seemed too full. Queue for pancake machine and toast machine should be separated as there is enough room to do this.

Staff first and foremost, food lovely, room nice. Welcome cookies a nice touch.

We were staying here for the wedding awards myself and my daughter. we travel from inverness by train then taxi to hotel.

The pool is such a let down. We have to pay everytime we wanted to use it even although we were guests. The lockers didn’t work so u couldn’t leave anything valuable. There was 2 showers with no shampoos or anything in it compared to other hotel spas. The jacuzzi was broke and thee was 1 seat and 1lounger poolside.

Beautiful hotel, lovely decor. Room was lovely, comfy beds and clean.

Leisure Club understaffed. Swimming pool jacuzzi closed during stay (no prior notice of this). Lack of padlocks in changing area (pool wasn’t even busy, only 10% of lockers used??) expected to leave private items at reception or by poolside - poor. My daughter was sick on the bed - no replacement mattress available, mattress sprayed with bleach & covered over by mattress cover with expectation this was OK??? Smell of bleach was overpowering & fact that this was not really sanitary. Requested to change rooms which was granted but replacement room was a downgrade due to availability- had to spend the remainder of our stay in smaller room having paid for bigger family room.

Room size was good, reception staff friendly
