Our room looked out over the bin area which could do to be tidied up a bit but beyond that was lovely Cheshire countryside. Not a huge problem.

The location was perfect as we were visiting family in the area. The Golden Pheasant is set in lovely countryside and is easy to get to. The room was stylish, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a good selection for continental and / or cooked. The staff were all very helpful, pleasant and professional. Good car parking with EV charger if you need it. Evening meals were delicious.

We have stayed in a few different places locally & this was by far our most comfortable stay. We loved how clean & quiet our room was. We know the area pretty well but it was very easy to find from both directions! We will be re booking for our trip in May.

The water in shower was far too hot and there was no way of making it cooler. Apart from this the bathroom was good.

The staff were very efficient and they took great care to make us feel welcome. They were attentive and polite and made us feel very much at home. The evening meal was delicious. The pub/restaurant was very pleasantly decorated and comfortable. The beer garden and play area were great and it was a very pleasant place to sit with a lovely view. The room was well decorated and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and it was very quiet. The breakfast was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the background music it was very relaxing.

A very nice pub/hotel, with a great bar and very good food, the room was comfortable, the staff were warm and welcoming, we’ll definitely stay again.

The room was very hot despite the radiator being turned off. Furniture was tatty and only one hanger in the wardrobe. There was very little storage in either the bedroom or bathroom. However, apparently the hotel is due for a refit soon.

Excellent location and easy to find. Staff were friendly and those in the restaurant very attentive. The restaurant is a delight being both spacious and cosy with a log fire and the food is of a very high standard.

A lovely country inn with a cosy traditional feel . Exceptional service from staff throughout - warm welcome and attentive service for both dinner and breakfast Delicious food - really enjoyed my lamb hot pot , the sea bass and steak and ale pie were highly rated by the others I dined with Room was comfortable , spacious and very clean

Great location near Plumley Station and a stones throw from family friends. Easy and friendly check-in. The room was vast, with a large comfortable bed and powerful shower. A choice of cooked breakfast, great value. Very friendly and professional staff.
