The room is comfy and specious. The breakfast has many options and its very delicious. The host lady Catherine is really friendly and we had great stay here. Will definitely come back again.

First and foremost, the host was so LOVELY. I never got her name, but she was so sweet and considerate. The location of the place was perfectly situated in Windermere; everything was a short walk away - cafes, hiking trails, grocery stores, etc. The place was quiet, peaceful, and immaculately clean! Smelled clean, looked clean, and everything was in tip top shape. The small things were the cherry on top (little soaps, cute teacups and kettle in the room, cookies, slippers, robe, etc.). The breakfast was so good (with much variety!) and the breakfast room was really cozy and lovely, too. If you want to get to Windermere Lake or Bowness, you can definitely walk there from Windermere, but taxis and busses are available, too. I'm sure the host will help find options for you. :) I couldn't recommend it more, really. I had a relaxing stay.

The location was great and the breakfast was delicious. The property was spotless and our room was really comfortable. Plenty of hot water for a great shower. The lady who runs the guest house was lovely. We will return.

No problems at all - everything was great!

Breakfast was exceptional … good choice, able to customise the Full English, and well cooked. Our room was perfect with many thoughtful extras, such as beautiful mugs for the tea and coffee. We were lucky to have parking, as another guest came by train, but the main car park is large and only a very short walk away. The Haven is really central for the shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, as well as Booths, Lakeland, and the bus and train! We used the buses for the first time on this trip and were able to get wherever we wanted for walks, shopping and visits. It was an absolute delight to stay here - we usually like to try different B&Bs/cottages when we come to the lakes but we’ll definitely be coming back here unless there’s a very good reason not to! 😂 Thank you very much x

Best bed and breakfast I’ve stayed at, you really tell how much care goes into the rooms. Immaculate upon arrival, comfy, soft bed and the breakfasts were fantastic. Unfortunately I was kept inside due to storms on my second day in Windermere, but I certainly was comfy! Thank you! 🙌

Lighting wasn't great for reading. Shower head needs a bit of an update. Pressure and positioning weren't ideal. Nothing serious that would deter anyone from coming back to such a pleasant place.
