United KingdomThe pub bar (separate from the hotel) was very loud, music making it impossible to hold a conversation. However couldn't be heard in the hotel where there was an additional lounge bar

United KingdomRooms were a bit dated Bed very uncomfortable - I could feel the springs coming through the mattress (Room 11) and the bedding sheet was very worn. Pillows were flat. Parking lot was unavailable which caused some stress on arrival.

United KingdomThere was leak in the ceiling in the bathroom (it was a very rainy few days) and we couldn't turn the radiator off or down - but we did forget to tell the hotel this so I'm sure they would have sorted it. Check out is at 10am which feels quite early as breakfast runs to half 9.
Room was lovely and spacious, incredible views of the ocean! The breakfast was delicious and lots of options, even for a veggie. We didn't use public transport but could see that there were regular buses, and parking was easy. Staff were all lovely and friendly.

United KingdomBreakfast did not start until 0800 - late for people catching an early flight out of Guernsey The car park is full of awkward corners, and on a rainy night it is impossible to see the very dark wooden table out at the front when reversing. I suggest they be moved away and that the illumination of the carpark is improved

United KingdomRoom: we had 2 soaps left in our room, we opened 1 to use in the bathroom, the next day the one at the sink had been taken which we thought wasteful as we were there 3 nights. We opened the 2nd soap, the next day this had been taken so we ended up with no soap. This baffled us - why leave soap and then dispose of it during the stay?! Could we not have been allocated a seaview / better view as there was only one other room in use? Our 'view' was of the side/back and not appealing. Breakfast: on our first morning we would have expected someone to explain about the help-yourself part of breakfast. We were offered tea or coffee which each morning came promptly but despite there being jams on the table weren't offered any toast etc for it. On the second morning we asked but staff seemed surprised. Were the breakfast bits on the table just for show? The first morning I had smashed avocado, the eggs and toast were great but unfortunately the avacado was heavily salted which completely ruined it. I understand some people like salt but this wasn't a pinch it was too much. The other guest had the full English, unfortunately she found this to be largely overcooked with things being too hard. The next mornings we had the acai bowl which we enjoyed. Menu: the menu in the room didn't match the menu in the restaurant which was disappointing the day we had lunch.
Room: lovely and spacious, comfortable beds, nice to have twins rather than double. Excellent drink and shower facilities. Daily clean/tidy/re-stock of room. The information book was very helpful. Restaurant: fantastic view, comfortable, spacious, enjoyed soup on our first day and lovely dessert. Staff: welcoming, friendly, helpful. Reception lounge: we didn't use whilst we were actually staying but it was perfect on our departure day to relax and have a base due to an evening flight and 10am checkout.

The team here are very friendly and helpful, and made me feel 100% welcome. The location is outstanding, the view of the bay and listening to the waves is so relaxing. Will definitely be back.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. We were over for a family funeral and had the wake there. It was perfect for our small gathering. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff - the prepared the buffet, they booked out taxi from the airport and they were willing to help in any way. It made the day so much easier to deal with, knowing that we had the support of the hotel staff. The location of the hotel is a perfectly beautiful location.

United KingdomBecause we added two nights onto our stay we had to move our room. We knew we would be in a family room. This was more spacious than the first room we had but in need of refurbishment. In both rooms, lights from outside shone through our windows and made it difficult to sleep.
Staff always helpful and welcoming. Great food, both for breakfast and evening meal. The location, right by the sea and the views through the window when we had our meals were stunning.

GermanyNow, that is just my opinion, as I am as well for the half of my life in hospitality (most 4 stars or higher). I do have another opinion about cleanliness. The room has carpet, which was not looking clean and also was not vacuumed every day. The bedding was not changed during a 8 night stay. It should be changed after the half of it. Also in the shower and some other parts of the bathroom was black mold. There have to be a better eye on it from the housekeeping. Carpets were also in other parts of the public areas and they were not very clean. I know that mostly guests are making those dirty with drinks, food or dirt from outside. The carpets could be cleaned more often or remove carpets and use tiles or wooden floor with at some points carpets bridges which are easier to clean.
The location was very good. The Bay was just outside the hotel. Also the possibility to have a bus station at the opposite is very good, you do not need a car and can just jump on the bus. The staff was very friendly and the interior was nice.
