Our room was COLD! The radiator was off and, even though there was a warning on the bathroom radiator to be careful of the boiling pipes - it was also cold. I reported this to the staff, who said that if they put our heating on, they'd have to put the heating on for all the rooms...which seems a bit odd. The heating was off the entire time we were there and we were very chilly! Shame really, as the room and the staff were good - this would make us think twice about rebooking the King's Arms in the coming weeks when we return to Godalming.

We loved the location right in town and the room was nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the shower and toiletries were well above average. Staff were friendly and seemed to be working more than one job - quite an impressive team spirit in play.

Its only a small thing a few hairs in the bath Four in a bed would of had a field day!! The toilet floor in the bar area really need a proper scrub off

Location was perfect close to the train station, rooms lovely stayed with this Hotel group before in Conway. The bar is nice and the selection of bars, coffee shops and restaurants nearby is great. Very nice linen on the beds

I have to be honest the showers here, in every room I have stayed in are not great. The pressure isn't the best at all and on my last visit it wasn't strong enough to even wash my hair fully. I was told a plumber would look at it the next day, but when I returned I was told that I 'had a bath in the room' and that no plumber had been. I was offered an alternative room, but on night 2 I did not want to have to pack everything up to move. I was given (after asking for a jug to use in the bath to wash my hair) a glass water carafe - needless to say I didn't use ti and just made do.

I've stayed here a number of times now and the rooms are just really lovely. On the most part the staff are great and its well located. The food in the restaurant is good.

Basin in the bathroom was really too small to do more than wash one's hands. Parkinkg is an issue because of the central location but there was plenty of capacity in the public car park and it was extremely close.

The hot breakfasts could be improved the sausages need to be cooked traditionally so that the skins crisp the hash browns need to be crisp. Mushrooms good quality but need a little butter to finish

Needs a little more attention to detail when cleaning. Bathroom was spotless - as though no one had previously used it. However the upholstered headboards on the beds, although beautiful, were very dusty.

Lovely well decorated, characterful and spacious room. Great choice on breakfast menu and it was delicious. Very nice, welcoming staff.
