We booked the Nordic spa on Saturday afternoon when we arrived which was nice , I also booked it for 10am Sunday as we usually go for breakfast 8am then after checking out use the spa , the young lady told us it was open from 8am and a large party due 10.30am so we decided to use the spa 8am for an hour then go for breakfast for a change, wish we stuck to usual plan ! Got to spa 8am but couldn't use the jacuzzi as far too hot, but we were already in costumes so hung around, I tried the pool but far too cold we gave up after an hour and went for breakfast and checked out 10am and returned to spa again jacuzzi still far too hot , we had paid to use it and had about 10 minutes use and the jets didn't work as usual, we gave up and left the large party that followed us obviously found it too hot too as sat on the side chatting when we passed. Was a bit disappointing 😞

The rooms was to close upstairs you could hear the neighbours coming on the stairs and I’d booked a double room and I had 2 single beds pushed together but they was very small and it was a pain to keep pushing back together.

The bottle opener in the room is not the best (The one attached to the wall for customer use) - It seems old and rusty and may need to be replaced. Check out is 11am however, in the morning we wanted to make use of the hot tub for an hour before we left but the cleaners were already cleaning this out from 09:30 so we had to get out of the hot tub and also close all blinds and curtains so we could get showered and ready to leave in private. Just to note, the cars need to be parked in the main car park so you have to drop all your luggage to the cabin then go park and walk back however, some cabins seem to have parking spaces and others don't :)

The room was lovely and comfortable! We were able to control the heating which was nice as when getting out of the hot tub it was cold so the room was lovely and toasty when we came back inside :) Loved the robes and slippers provided also!! The shower was a big overhead shower and was lovely!! We didn't have any food but did notice you can get takeaway pizzas etc from the main reception area and bring it back to your suite which is cool :)

The mattress in the room was quite uncomfortable- probably needs updating. The bathroom needs a bit of attention also- re grouting and just the small cleaning details

The room was tired, edges damaged and mould in the shower. I think the room needed a refresh. I also feel that later check in and earlier check out for those in lodges is unfair, why should we pay more for less time? The venue also advertised food collection however they explained their 1 slot was taken so delivery wasn’t available. The tea and coffee selection was basic for the price you pay for the room, no sweetener's.

There were some dirty handprints on the walls in our room near the wardrobe, there was only half a toilet roll in the bathroom so we had to go get some more, the hot tub was exposed so everyone walking past the lodge could see in and the hot tub wasn't positioned anywhere near the sliding doors so we had to walk around the lodge every time. The bed was very creaky and uncomfortable and the room was like a sauna, even though the heating wasn't on.

Room was clean and tidy, location was great and it was nice and quiet. Staff were very friendly upon arrival and again on departure.

The only thing we could complain about was given only half a toilet roll for our stay without an extra one at hand.

The room was far too hot. Thankfully we were able to open the windows. We hadn't realised that it is a popular place for party groups, perhaps it would be nice to have designated quieter lodges situated farthest away from the resort.

The breakfast was poor, very little choice of continental, some of cooked elements were not great, and very expensive if you hadn't included it with room, had to pay extra for special coffees (latte, cappuccino etc).

Lovely outlook and surroundings, tidy and pretty clean, good size bathroom with both bath (deep) and separate shower, very hot water.

An alarm went off during the night, it was very loud and seemed to be just in our pod. It wasn’t a consistent alarm it stopped and started and then completely stopped after awhile. We didn’t think it was a fire alarm as it wasn’t consistent and when I rang the security they didn’t know what it was either. The next morning as we were getting ready to leave, it started again.

I liked the spacious rooms and the cleanliness, the resort itself was very pleasant.

The bathroom cabinets were damaged and needed renewing and also the table in the room. The continental breakfast was very limited. Also the hot tub didn’t reach the correct temperature until about 6pm and as you could check in from 3pm I would have expected the hot tub to be available from 3pm. I felt the restaurant was too near the bar which was very noisy.

The quality of the meal in the restaurant on the evening was lovely and the restaurant staff were great. The location was great and the room lovely.

The only reason I didn’t give it 10/10 is because the hot tub didn’t stay hot. We got back in it at 8pm after having food and it was lukewarm. We were too cold to stay in it for the remainder of the night which was disappointing. The button to turn up the temperature doesn’t work.

The lodge is very clean and spacious. The location is easy to get to with enough parking. It’s hard to find a lodge that lets you visit for 1 night only for 2 people. We had a good night here and enjoyed our stay.

A few stains on the sofa in the room. TV also didnt move/adjust on a bracket. didnt fancy sitting on the sofa with the stains, so meant we couldnt really watch tv as angle wasnt great from the bed. Even if we sat on the couch, i think tv it too high/sofa too close. A lot of stains on the carpet in the restaurant. Couple marks on the table in the room too.

Loved the hot tub and bathroom. Couldnt fault them. Also the man at the restaurant (leeds fan) was very tentative, and gave us a very good service.

The Shower did not run even tepid, it was COLD!!

We enjoyed a family reunion & lunch in The Glasshouse & an overnight stay in a Lodge room with ensuite. The bed was super comfy however the pillows could be upgraded. We were warm & cosy & slept well. Unfortunately the shower water was COLD!

The girls in the bar weren't very pleasant no hellos and goodbye not very helpful .
