Room was a bit rickety and characterful, bathroom in a cupboard but it was all we needed.

WiFi doesn’t work. The old stone walls prevent the WiFi from penetrating. It would work intermittently for text messaging only

Rooms very small and low ceilings. Little noisy late at night but is suppose to be expected with pub stay. Little overpriced but pleasant ☺️

Manor House is great for a short stay in Dronfield. I often travel for work and stay there almost every time. Staff is great, the pub is very nice and the rooms are comfortable. Some might say the rooms are noisy, but its a 17th century building, and I like they keep it some of that history. The best thing is the breakfast!

Room 3 a double. VERY small. No where to put suitcases. Ensuite tiny and nowhere to put toiletries or wash bag. Regulator on radiator not working so very hot or off.

The room was quite small and the shower too but we did know we had booked a small double so would book a standard double in the future:. The only complaint was that the remote control did not work so had to operate the channels manually which we reported when we gave the keys in.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was excellent!

The basic fact is that if I had understood in advance that the house didn't do evening meals, I wouldn't have booked there in the first place. (It's the things that seem so obvious you don't check them that trip you up. ) Given the obvious quality of 'the kitchen', and the advertisment of food during the day, this seems to me a very timid decision on the house's part. The pub next door, while good on food, is very expensive. I wasn't impressed with the wifi, although I didn't spend much time on it. And the hotwater situation is really not acceptable. I couldn't get hot water out of the shower. A local electric shower head would sort all that out quite cheaply.

High marks for staff - professional, friendly and efficient. Very high marks for breakfast - the best I have had in the 'overnight stay' situation for a very long time. It very clearly came from a 'proper kitchen'. (Although the coffee was really not hot enough).

Nothing aside I think would be cold in winter due to Stone nature of walls. However, it was centrally heated, and there were two plug-in heaters too so with all those, I’m sure heating would be managed
