Very poor water pressure for shower barely trickles out the shower head and our shower head was broken for what looked to be quite some time, sloppy decorating, very old beds under the sheets which hide them, smells of damp, heating only stays on for 2 hours before having to manually reset, hot water is only on at limited times. Shared microwave in a small room which is damp with wires hanging out of the walls, arrived to see loads of keys in envelopes with names on them as staff are barely there. Bathroom floor was coming up and silicone mouldy and ripped up. Bathroom door smacks into the sing so not great for anyone needing a lot of accessibility.

We had a refurbished room so wasn't as bad as some other pictures. Staff were pleasent enough to deal with. Good enough for a cheap weekend if you don't care about luxury.

The wall in the bedroom were dirty and there was a crack right over the bed. I was told I could only have hot water 415pm to 9pm and 8am to 10am not helpful when I had to be in work for 8! There was no mirror in the bedroom

Only found out when I arrived, the hot water is only turned on 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening.

That the hot water was on timer and that it was supposed to come on at 7.45am and it was only Lukewarm at 8.15am. This made getting out early harder if we needed a shower.

They had upgraded the rooms since the last time we stayed. There is plenty of tea and coffee. Clean towels and linen each day. Near relatives

Very run down, my bed was uncomfortable. TV was playing up, we could only watch BBC1.

It was convenient for us and we had great communication with the owner. Decent cleanliness.

The room was basic, bedding was clean, enough storage for a night's stay, hospitality tray with tea and coffee, good, but the bathroom was very old and needs refurbishing, the room was extremely hot, unbearable really not enough ventilation, no fan, no air conditioning which made it very difficult to sleep, we were up most of the night, got very little sleep, so left very early in the morning

The friendliness of the staff, location was good for our stay, local to a shop and garage for food if you needed it

No hot water. I was going to a show Saturday night in Manchester. Leaving motel at 4.15pm. Scorching hot day. But couldn't have a shower before I changed. Because the water is on a timer??? 7.30 to 9.30. Then 4.30 to 8.30 in the afternoon. Not good. Bath towel to small. No soap in bathroom so you can wash your hands after using toilet!!!! Defo bring your own toiletries.

Nice and quiet which came as a surprise. Next door to 24hr well stocked spar shop. Sandwich bar on site 7.30 onwards to grab a bacon butty.

Decor and furniture needs updating

Location was ok as it was near to the football stadium. There wasn't any breakfast, but there was a burger van outside selling breakfast assortments, which was excellent!👍 The room was very basic but it was clean, ok for a one night stay.

The TV did not work properly, we had sound but no picture. The hair dryer, which was attached to the wall, smoked when we switched it on and could not be used.

Room was clean and comfy beds. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Facilities were basic but adequate and value for money.

bedroom wallpaper needs renewing & room heater kept going off which was a nuisance on a wintery evening

Location good ...rooms very dated not even a picture on the wall ..old heating pipes on show and bathroom from 1980 ...heater in room not working so room was very cold. Wouldn't cost very much to improve the rooms please do so.

Could have been cleaner, bed could have been bigger. Bathroom in particular was not very clean or well maintained.

Good place for our intended use - just somewhere to sleep and wash - very basic though for what we paid, it met expectation... (3 nights, £55 for 2 adults) Room was warm enough, and location was ideal for us as we were visiting friends less than a 5 min drive away. Aside from checking in, we didn't see many staff around - check in lady was very friendly and helpful.

Bathroom had mould, very small, carpet bit dirty. Window steam up. Fridge would have been nice, as milk ftea & coffee was less for 3 people
