Nothing, all good

Great location, close enough to walk to the water & restaurants but far enough away to be quiet. Dolores is a super friendly and helpful proprietor and cooks a plentiful and delicious breakfast, which was enjoyed in the beautifully decorated common area. Bed was comfy, good shower with plenty of hot water and wifi was secure. Overall, an excellent stay and we would return 🙂

Lovely room spotlessly clean and very comfortable bed, Breakfast was exceptional very well presented and cooked. Dolores was a fabulous host nothing to much trouble. Great location central to most places and the benefit of being able to park our car with no issues whatsoever was a big plus considering the high cost of parking in Torquay. We are already looking at some dates for a return in the summer, Would not hesitate to recommend the Southbank Town House.

Beautiful single room and neat small shower room. Just right for a short stay. Excellent healthy cooked breakfast made with local produce. Friendly helpful staff. I'll be back.

It would have been fantastic if we had a communal lounge to sit in the evening.

We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was lovely and the accommodation was clean. The hosts were very welcoming. We hope to be back again.

Really warm welcome. Danny and Dolores are lovely hosts. We arrived two hours earlier than we had stated due to some poor weather conditions, which meant we did not stop on our journey, but we were welcomed into the property, shown to our room and given some suggestions close by for food and drink so that we did not spend too long in the rain. Very comfortable stay, and the best cooked breakfast to set us up for the journey home. We will be back, again!

There was nothing not to like, we had the junior suite (recommended) it was cleaned every day

The room door was a bit stiff, but it's probably just because it looks like a recently fitted door. There's not much to not like about this place, TBH.

We had the Superior King Room, which was fresh, clean, spacious, and comfortable. Although the car park is small, the host had a key safe for my car keys so that the cars could be shuffled around if needed. Some might say that they could add Valet Parking to the Facility list.. Also to note the sausages on the breakfast were worth the visit alone Highly recommended.

The attention to detail was fantastic, from the decor to the facilities. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Very spacious room. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. A very warm friendly and inviting hotel.

I cannot fault our stay at the Southbank Townhouse, from the lovely welcome to the check out went sweetly. Very nicely decorated and clean room, everything worked as it should. Breakfast was delicious with a varied choice (the porridge is superb). I am sure no one could regret staying here.

Very little not to like! It was very hot in the room but that wasn't surprising with the humid heatwave and no wind. The room did have a fan though and that was a godsend. We were very lucky to have found one of the on-site parking spaces free as there aren't enough for all the rooms.

Loved the decor! Very clever and tasteful refurbishment made the whole place beautiful and interesting. The huge gorgeous bathroom and the separate seating area in the dressing room section of our 'Superior King' room made our stay very relaxed and enjoyable. Lots of space, lots of mirrors, lots of plugs in useful places. Great attention to detail regarding the comfort of guests. Excellent breakfast too.
