Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Location was great. Staff was friendly n helped to carry baggage up stairs. Rm is spacious n comfy. Walking distance to Windsor Castle n surrounded by many eateries

If i had to say something maybe the fact that they do not serve food, but you have a Coffee truck Shop in the morning and plenty of restaurant and breakfasts places at 5mn walk so not such a bad things though.. All was great! .
The windsor trooper inn is well situated in Windsor, 5mn walk from the castle, staff really nice and our two bedrooms flat (5 people) was really nice. Beds confortables, bedrloms lovely, we had a very pleasant stay. The must: the garden party where you can drink a glass up till 22h.

It wasn't a problem for us as it was cold and wet when we stayed, but I can imagine the beer garden, right outside the room, would be quite noisy in better weather. Wouldn't recommend this room for families with very young children.
Lovely cosy room, very clean, great location for walking into the city centre, nice pub for a drink and a great Japanese restaurant next door (one of many restaurants within a few minutes walk).

Nothing really, it’s accessed by some steep steps through a door next to the pub Parking is metres up to 2 hours outside, but we found some parking for 4 hours then free from c6 5 minutes walk away

We had no hairdryer and I did ask for one but it never arrived but no big deal would of appreciated one though also a mini fridge would of been nice that’s all it lacked really

Nothing really, im nit picking here, bed was hard and only blinds so very bright early in the room do bring an eye mask, you can definately hear other people in rooms. There is no parking here so be aware of this. We used JIUST PARK only a 10 min walk away and saved us hastle and money. Wouldn’t like to be in this location in the summer though far too hot in the room and castle would be a nightmare with tourists. In March it was perfect.
Loved the location, 10 min walk to the castle, good few restaurants 2 mins away. Nice pub. It was too cold for us to sit outside in the beer garden but looked good. They have live music on a Thursday also. Good value for money considering the area.

Staff were lovely. Room was clean and warm. There was a fan already in the room which we used as we did feel a bit too warm. Great location for Windsor Castle.

Couldn't get the shower in the bathroom to go warm.
Lovely staff in the pub. We had two rooms - one on the ground floor and one upstairs. The one on the ground floor was a little more updated/decorated, though the one upstairs had a newer bathroom. If you have mobility issues definitely choose ground floor! Really good location, around a 10 min walk to main high street and around 15 mins to castle. Comfy beds, hardly any noise from the pub at all.

Could do with bedside tables for both beds in the twin room.
Great room and location down the road from the town centre. The pub itself was great too. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Luggage can be stored for pick-up in the pub after leaving which was great.

The room was right next to the beer garden which had a loud and persistent clientele. Fair enough, it’s a pub! However the toilet and water noises that commenced after 23:30 and went past midnight either above or behind our bed was very disturbing.
Location was good. Easy access. Clean and well presented.
