Bedrooms are tired and dated definitely need updating. Severe lack of power sockets and in a silly position in room 110.

Spacious and clean. Great restaurant. Staff excellent and friendly- kids loved it a lot more than a lot more expensive places we have visited.

Bathroom could do with updating. Toilet didn't fully flush. Need longer lead on hairdryer or a socket by the mirror. Overall, can't complain for the money.

Room was shabby, shades broken, dust around the pipe work, walls need painting, the staff in the pub were not really interested in the customers, slow and more concerned about their phones.

Location is super and parking is available.

Room and especially bathroom was very old and tired. Had to wait at reception for a while before someone came to check us in. Food service was quite slow.

Hotel needs a revamp, but for one night, it was fine. Tiny towels, hot water was red hot, caution recommended.

Friendly staff, great location, comfy beds and pillows, tea, coffee and biscuits. Good bar and reasonably priced drinks.

Bathrooms need updating but OK for a short stay.

Very convenient location. Breakfast is good. Room is good but bathrooms need updating, even if hot water was plentiful. Bar food is good too. And Parking is safe and free and there's EV charging for two cars if you needed it.

The toilet handle was broken, but did flush eventually. This was reported on leaving. Coffee in room was pretty awful. Cleaning could have been better and dirty cups from the day before could have been replaced with clean ones.

The bed was really comfortable. A good location in the heart of town. The bar was nice and well stocked. We didn’t chose the breakfast, as on past stays we found it to be of small portions for the cost. There are plenty of cafes and a good breakfast is almost half the price and more plentiful.

Being a historic hotel water pressure in shower was pretty ordinary, also black mould on the ceiling of the shower. For a family sized room, we expected at least a fridge in the room.

Not cleaned between previous guests and us arriving. Shower could be more powerful. We’ve stopped at the Wynnstay a few times, it just needs a bit of tlc....

Room was not at great standard. Broken taps, TV had to tuned each time it was turned off. Toilet didnt flush properly. Water dripping from window. Photos of rooms not as advertised on sight.

The room got too hot and it was very difficult to turn down the heater. It was a Saturday night and drunken street noise was still evident at 3am. The breakfast was well priced and the array of available food good. The toaster kept burning the toast and the bacon was underwhelming.

Our bathroom was not up to standard. The toilet needed to be clean, could do with having cleaning fluid put in.so the bottom of the bowl would look clean, instead of looking dirty. Also around the bath this needed the sealant removed and replaced. Otherwise the room was clean. The hotel cannot help with engines running in the early hours of the morning, but has our room was over the car park, it was an annoying. Would be good if the hotel was able to have a sign up to say this way to car park,

Location was good. The choice of breakfast was excellent, staff were very friendly and very good at their job. Did have evening meal, again the two ale staff behind the bar made us feel welcome, and was able to help us out with our enquiries. The room was adequate for what we needed.
