Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI felt that the parking charges were excessive for people actually staying in the hotel. I would have liked a bath mat for the bath/shower as I found this very slippery.
We loved the art Deco decor in the reception and dining room, it almost felt like Poirot and Hastings would descend the staircase. The food was absolutely delicious thanks to chef Luis and made so much nicer by the very charming Eduardo who went that extra mile to ensure that we were all comfortable and in particular my 95 year old mother. The rooms were clean and comfortable but the small double was a little cramped having given my mum the large room which had a walk in shower as she would not have managed the shower in a bath. The upstairs corridor was a little tired looking .

United KingdomReception staff member on arrival was serioulsy unhappy and rude. I saw her be the same to a couple ahead of me in the queue as well. Room wasn't comfortable and could do with a decor update.
Location was very good. Breakfast staff we lovely and the shared spaces seemed nice. I didn't get to experience a lot because of the time of year.

United KingdomThe room was ok decoration wise, carpet looked tired. The Air Con showed a fault and didn't work when we came to use it at bedtime....reported in the morning to reception.
The staff were excellent. Location on the Overcliff stunning. Loved the Art Deco styling . We attended a wedding and the staging of the room through the day was cleverly done.

CyprusThe only lift is on the small side, a tad slow at busy times. The pool and deck were being renovated during my visit so I couldn't use that area. It didn't detract from my stay as it was too cold to use any pool and at times there was a chilly wind.
I stayed for a family wedding. great location, a short walk down to the beautiful beach. I loved the Art Deco style. Fabulous shower. Great mattresses and I slept like a log. Very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. I would most definitely stay again.

United KingdomI didn’t have a physical card with me as it was in my bag at home, I had prepaid for the dinner, bed & breakfast package so didn’t think I’d need it. I always use Apple pay on my phone when out but you can’t use that to check in. This made for a very awkward start to the trip and if I hadn’t prepaid I would have just left, in the end they let us check in and just pay as we went for drinks etc. I think this policy needs changing as I was not the only guest I heard who had this awkward problem. The parking is very limited, we luckily got the last space so I didn’t dare to use the car in case we couldn’t get parked again. Not that we needed to drive anywhere as it’s a very pleasant walk along the beach to the pier and town centre. The shower in my room was not very powerful unfortunately which made hair washing a challenge. We only stayed 2 nights so I didn’t bother complaining about it as the rest of the stay was lovely.
the bar and restaurant areas were very elegant. The outdoor pool and deck would be lovely in the summer. The pool in the next door hotel was the best bit for my 6 year old daughter. The family room was very spacious and we could log into our netflix account on the tv.

United KingdomVery dated furnishings and decor. The chairs/sofas are worn and uncomfortable as they have sunk through wear. The wallpaper is peeling in lots of places. It claims to be art deco but it’s really art tired.

United KingdomRoom 124. Dreadful outlook. Very old TV model and it wouldn't turn on. Remote had power light and wall socket worked. The Shower head wasn't very good. I think twice about returning because of the room. Parking is a challenge. Fortunately i manged to get one of your limited spaces. As a visitor to the town I would have had no idea how to pay for parking on the street. Never encountered parking Apps.

United Kingdomattention to some minor areas could make it even better(some tables delaminating, shower fixings covered in timescale), wallpaper scratched and peeling near to lifts. Also, at breakfast, the tables were so close together it was impossible to sit down with sticking your posterior in adjacent diners faces - more room please, the area is big enough!! Rooms a tad noisy from other guests but ok, couldn't get the air conditioning to work, and I'm quite tech savvy.
Loved the art deco style, food delicious, great breakfast. Pleasant staff but maybe the restaurant manager was a tad standoffish.
