The blinds didn't block any light. The window didn't open. There are no glasses in the bathroom. Bed felt wobbly and mattress springs old.

On the day of the check-in, they assigned the same room to another guest (he had the entrance code, he burst into my room while I was in there). After that, I didn't feel safe - anyone could get into my room anytime. The wardrobe rack was broken. No Wifi, no TV. They gave some guests the wrong room codes, they couldn't get into their rooms (I could hear them in the hallway) outside my room.

I did not like the concept of 'self checking' as enter codes were sent to me during my flight on email, without prior announcement day before check in with exact explanation how to enter the code to different devices. I understand disclosure of codes is related to cancellation rights/options. It took me several attempts to get into rooms as code device was completely new to me with very small font. I expected reception, which is under refurbishment so unavailable. Hence name 'hotel' is overvaluation. Phone contact was really bad as hotel is on very busy street and person on other side probably did not know anything about the property. My second call was cancelled without explanation. I contacted the management of hotel via email through Booking.com but answers were delayed and irrelevant, even mentioning unavailable reception. Fortunately maintenance staff (I guess) was helpful when I met them and helped me with missing kettle as well as setting up TV set. They were nice and polite.

- The noice is absurd you hear everything other i wouldnt even call them people elephants and monkeys 3am So be ready to buy earplugs - tv is uselles not paid programs nothing screen miroring only if you have android - no wifi but for the price i get it

Check in time is at 3 PM and we were arrived at 4 PM and room was not ready (no bed sheets, no pillows, no toiletries, no towels, no soaps). We had to call the hotel a few times until they picked up the call and sent someone to get things we need. They most funny thing was when they handed bed sheets for us and we had to put it up to our beds (which usually will be done by the service staff).

Room was clean and quite spacious. Heater was working excellent both for room and water.

Room very small, The traffic noises very loud to room that bother most of the time. May be window has no sound insulations. The room located on 3rd floor and there was no lift to carry luggage. No one available on the property if you need help. Ground floor was under constructions or refurbishment. Not fit for my style. will avoid next time.

Photos misleading as it's clean but basic, not as pretty or spacious as photos show. Also absolutely no chance of breakfast so why show the photo??

The instructions were not entirely clear, the front door looks awful and disused. I had to search for the entry code which could have been made clearer when it was sent. I felt very anxious going in. But the room was fine. I had to ask people talking outside my door to be quiet at 1130pm last night as they woke me up. The tv did not work and there weren’t instructions. The WiFi code was not accepted. The sheets are cheap and synthetic. The communal areas are not very clean and it’s a bit like a building site. No apparent staff. Noisy extractor fan outside but it went off at about 1030pm which was great. But despite all this it was actually pretty good.

Great location. Clean room. Hot water. Comfortable bed. I felt safe. Good value for money. Lots of towels. Lots of great restaurants right on your doorstep and good transport links.

Getting in when you book last minute can be stressful - HOWEVER, once you find this number it is so so easy: 020 3961 6441 - it’s open 24/7 and they have all the room numbers, key codes etc everything you need for your stay. Just give your booking number. DONT miss out on this bargain place, whose rooms are beautiful, because of bad reviews. Okay - the staircase when you go in isn’t the tidiest, but the rooms are lovely!

This place has a lot of bad reviews about getting inside - but once you’re in it is perfect, especially for what you’re paying in such a beautiful place as Camberwell. THE NUMBER you need if you’re stuck outside is 020 3961 6441 - it works 24/7 and they are amazing and will give you all the codes. Just call them and you’re in! Also don’t be afraid to ask other guests, they help out. The room was stunning, just beautifully redone, bed so so comfy, warm heating, great shower. Literally a perfect set up. We heard no noise at all from our room. We stayed in room 15.

No elevator, so I had to drag my heavy suitcase up stairs. I hope they renovate the hallways like they are reception, currently the hallways have gross carpet and dated paint. TV has no remote so couldnt watch anything. Not sure if it was a smart tv or not but couldnt access anything with the buttons. Also the shampoo/body wash in the shower was empty, so lucky i had my own.

Room has a microwave, good sized fridge, kettle, cutlery and plates. Decent amount of floor space and a nice bathroom with a full bath and shower! Zero street noise reached my room on the first floor. Was also very very clean.

We paid 140 € for 2 nights - but this place isn't a hotel at all! They didn't take out the trash, even didn't changed bed sheet. There was no wi-fi, in the room was tv, but it also didn't worked. Furthermore, we could hear another quests in other rooms.

No receptionist Only one housekeeper lady for a big place who couldn't assist when something was wrong. Terrible place definitely not going there again. False advertising of hotel's capabilities. Many guests were upset including me. My room was not ready on time even after 4pm. A big whole mess

There are is staff in the property at all, so do not expect any help from anyone. The 'hotel' is not a hotel, it is basically university accommodation/dorm rooms. The building was soo loud, the people next to door were shouting throughout the day, we told the staff(online) and they didn't do anything, no attempt of solving any issues. The property itself is so loud, you can hear everything outside we thought the windows were open. The amenities listed as part of the deal is false. DO NOT believe them at all. There were people drilling holes through the wall at night time, this must have been some member of staff but wouldn't surprise me if it was a random guest. The signs said to leave towels in the bath to be cleaned, this did not happen and we ended up having dirty towels. DO NOT come here, it's not worth the price. The room itself was tiny, not clean and smelled The 'hotel' does not care about customer service as there are plenty people complaining about the same issues which they clearly do not care to offer any solutions

At checked in the room was messy, I had to wait for 2 hours for just one house keeper that was available to finish cleaning other rooms and come to mind. Very dirty and unkept property. My worst experience ever and I regret ever staying in such a place.
