To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomThe room we stayed in, although was perfectly fine for us, did look a little tired in places. Scuffed paintwork and a loose toilet door handle. But it didn't put us off and would happily stay again.
Bed was comfy. Good drink making facilities. Good sized towels (sometimes you can stay in hotels and the towels are really thin and small). Breakfast was excellent. Good choice of continental breakfast with very good options for cooked breakfast too. Friendly and helpful staff.

Hotel was clean and nice bright entrance/bar/restaurant. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Our room was a little smaller than expected compared to the photos online and there wasn't space to move us as it was the weekend but in the end it didn't matter at all as the staff were so eager to help and made our stay so pleasant. The bed was comfy, fresh white towels and room facilities had all you needed for a couple of days stay. The breakfast was really nice with lots of choice and location was great being so close to the sea.
