Not much. Handle on one of the windows was loose. Wine at the bar was a bit expensive. But this is nitpicking.

Lovely small hotel in a charming neighborhood close to Hyde park and just a short walk from Paddington Station. Excellent customer service, and our room was very nicely appointed. Bed was large and comfortable, and the room was immaculately clean.

Super comfortable bed. Nice Breakfast. Very english townhouse hotel with a modern twist. Breakfast is served, which I love, no running around the buffet. I have chosen the location because it is walking distance to paddington Stn.

We waited a while at the table before any one served us for breakfast. We were the only ones sat to eat which was at 9am, then too many members of staff were asking us what we wanted. Not clear as to what we could have for breakfast as it was not a help your self to cold buffet so didn't really get full value as we became too disappointed to ask because of the communication barrier. The communication between us and the staff was poor. I asked for granola, this came with hot milk. Taste was awful. I asked another server to change this and bring cold milk, I received muesli with cold milk! By the time the muesli was bought to me my eggs Benedict came, which was cold. My husband ordered porridge and full english breakfast he received the english breakfast first then the porridge which was made especially for him but the consistency was stiff and too thick to eat. I asked for sour dough bread toasted with butter and honey, when it came it was as if it had been reheated? We did not get offered any pastries or any thing else! A server came with a small bowl of cut strawberries, blackberries and blueberries….to share?

The shower did not have hot water for 2 out of 4 days I lived, had to contact the reception for this issue but they were very responsive and solved it in 1 hour. The walls of the room are thin and the floor makes sounds so you hear your neighbours.

The property was clean, close to tube Paddington and Lancaster Gate. Really liked the staff, very responsive and approachable. Would recommend if you want to live a little outside of the centre but not too far away. Next to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park, a lot of restaurants near by.

The hotel is well positioned next to hide park. The rooms are clean, the bed is very comfortable. I had the pleasure of eating at the restaurant of the hotel and having a few drinks at the bar. Both the food and the drinks were exceptional. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, especially Oleh, the lovely girls at the reception and the gentleman at the bar. Definetly worth a visit if you’re in London!

The 4-poster bed was so high I had to stand in a chair to get in! Even my 6’ husband struggled. No toast came with the English Breakfast and after ordering some, I’d finished my meal - slowly - and left before it ever arrived. Toast should be offered as standard with English Breakfast. Finally, there should be sockets near a mirror for the hairdryer.

Great location, 5 minutes from Paddington but very quiet. The bed was super comfortable and staff were friendly.
