Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Nothing - hotel and staff first rate.
Perfect accommodation in a perfect location. Hotel spotless, well maintained, comfortable bed, lovely room decor, excellent bathroom and room facilities. Breakfast superb fresh, quality produce, good selection and cooked to order. Hotel staff professional, attentive and efficient.

Unfortunately there was no bar within the hotel. Although you are allowed to take drinks to your room.
The host was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel and room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was exceptional.The hotel was situated right next to the pier and close to all the shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed a home cooked breakfast, although it was a bit too heavy and quite salty. The bedroom wouldn't get dark enough during the early morning hours, but this is more of a UK problem than this stay in particular.
The owner is fantastic, incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was much bigger than expected, with a good enough view on the Great Orme and Llandudno's pier and sea. The structure is really clean and at a short walking distance from everything Llandudno has to offer, whether it's the city centre or the hiking trails surrounding the city.

The room we checked in to was on the third floor, so the next time we stay at this family friendly hotel we will request a room on a lower floor.
Check in was smooth and faultless, with all the information you needed to make your stay stress free. The parking space that I requested on booking was made available for us, which was a big bonus as parking spaces in Llandudno are at premium. The Room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed for a good nights sleep, and a roomy bathroom with a large shower with ample hot water. The breakfast in the morning was excellent, with a great choice to cater for all tastes, with hot toast and coffee to complement the fayre. (Complements to the chef) and to the service at the table which was prompt and friendly.

A bit of a hike to the third floor with a small but heavy suitcase. No hot water in the en suite bathroom on the first night. I diverted water from the shower. I noticed the problem had been fixed the second night without my complaining.
Excellent breakfasts, friendly service, comfortable en suite room, good value, and almost on the sea.

The shower is small but powerful.
The Wilton is very clean. Room 2 was at the back of the property but still light. Not a huge room but big enough and well equipped. The breakfast was amazing with lots of choice. The staff and owners are friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

Do your research before going ahead and booking a Hotel such as these . You should be aware if you have any mobility issues in what ever form they come in ,places such as these are not for you as the climb up the stairs are quite frustrating and , very tiring but this is no reflection of the owners or staff just not cost effective to have stair lifts put in.
Everything about the room , cleanliness ,staff and breakfast was very good .
