Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomAwkward to get to from T5. Charging £8 each to get there on the pod and there is no bus. Taxi is £25. The restaurant was shocking. We waited 90 minutes for our starter. Food was just okay but the wait was very frustrating. We'd been travelling all day and were very hungry. There's nowhere else to eat near there, unless you pay to go back to T5!

SpainIt was very very outdated and needs a massive refurbishment I guess hence the price. They also do not answer emails when it states will be answered in 24 hrs we had to contact head office to get answers to our questions. Not good practice.
The staff andcthe bar were excellent and the rooms were comfortable. Food was also good here.

TaiwanThe room reeked of paint and I noticed the door had been freshly painted, which made my nose feel uncomfortable all night. Is there no other room? I mean, can't you wait for the smell to dissipate then open this room? I didn't ask to change rooms because I was only staying for one night.

United KingdomThere is no lift, so it is a struggle if you have more than one case and if you are travelling solo. There are many rooms on the ground floor so I would suggest at time of booking to request a ground floor room. In the morning I called reception and had assistance bringing my cases down, as I got to reception with the staff member he asked how I was getting to the airport. I explained I was using the pod and I had already paid for it. He suggested getting a taxi cause I had 3 cases and asked how can I get to the pod with 3 cases? I said I was going to use the pod as I had already paid for the service (evening staff already told me a taxi would be around £30), he just said oh ok and when back behind the reception desk and another member of staff helped me check out. The walk to the pod really does not take long but, it’s awkward with 3 cases when on your own. Luckily half way there another guest was also going that way so helped me. I probably should of said the staff member yesterday said I could get assistance with my bags to the pod but , when I got asked how I was getting there I felt like I would be putting this staff member out their way. The staff members in the morning were pleasant and helpful but, the vibes felt off compared to the evening staff when I checked in. Using the pod is not awkward with 3 suitcases by the way, very easy to use, plenty of room inside and there are trolleys available as soon as you get off at Heathrow, so please don’t pay the extra for taxis. Just ask for assistance there if you need it.
Very clean, house keepers do an excellent job! The room is a decent size and the bed is comfortable. Hairdryer is available and lots of tea, coffee and water in the room. Good transport to the airport available. Friendly staff, a lady on reception advised me of the pod transfer to the airport and saved me at least £20 ( I pre-booked this service for the next morning) the pod is very convenient as you can take it when you need and don’t have to wait for a taxi driver to pick you up. Another member of staff offered helped me carry my 3 suitcases to my room. He then advised me to call reception in the morning to request help carrying my cases back down stairs and to also assist me to the pod area as it’s about a 3 min walk from the hotel. Both of these staff were wonderful. The price was also great for what I received in that area, lower rated hotels were double the price.

United KingdomA free shuttle to the airport or at least cheaper would be a nice addition.
The room was comfortable. The phone wasn't working so I had to go to reception to order room service which wasn't practical but the staff were friendly and helpful.

United KingdomThe hotel should offer an out-of-hours transfer facility that guests would really welcome. Later opening times of bar and availability of food for late arriving flights/guests at Europe’s busiest airport would improve the customer experience rather than having to rely on fast food outlets.
The hotel is a real comfort hotel with amenities that you’d expect to find in luxury hotels.. location, facilities and accessibility are a massive plus when travelling out of any of the 5 Heathrow Terminals.

United KingdomThe cost of food was a bit pricey especially in the little self service shop. A sharing bag of m&ms , maltesers etc was basically £6. I think a normal bar of chocolate was a couple of pounds. Definitely stopped me snacking lol. Looks really run down from the outside and the main entrance isn't easy to notice, you'll naturally stumble across it but it just isn't sign posted very well. Tea and coffee facilities in the room were fine but but limited selection. Restaurant food was nice but again limited options and pricey, not pricey for London but if you're coming from terminal 5 you could easily grab food from m&s and save yourself some money.
Great location from terminal 5 making onward travel super easy especially if using the pods which are nearby. Room is big enough for what we needed.
