On my second stay, the bathroom was quite a bit smaller than the bathroom in the first room, and nowhere to hang a towel. I also found a tear in my duvet cover on the second stay.

The location to Heathrow terminal 5 is excellent for your onwards flights. I stayed here twice once before my outward flight and again on my return. The bar and restaurants are spacious and fairly priced for a hotel bar. I also loved being able to sit and watch the planes take off from the bar/restaurant area. The staff were helpful and friendly, which is always great. There is also lots of selection at breakfast of both hot and cold food foods and a selection of beverages. I also want to add that the room air con is excellent in the rooms, its a bug bear of mine that hotel rooms air con is usually terrible and the rooms tend to be too hot, but this is not the case at the Thistle. The pods too and from the terminal are great and allow easy access back to London via the tube and train. Overall, I was very happy with my stay and would absolutely stay here again when flying from Terminal 5.

Expensive bar and restaurant. Convenient pod transportation over priced - should be baked into the room price. A taxi would be cheaper. No elevators and access to rooms require dragging your bags up and down stairs negotiating the great British fire door maze.

Very convenient access to Terminal 5 via the ever more expensive pods. Room had good tea service.

Room furniture old and tired. Restaurant automatically add 12.5% service charge to bill, in addition to a line to add a tip. This looks like a charge and nothing is said about it but upon asking, it turns out this is basically a tip which is added by default (in addition to provision for adding a tip) and it is voluntary and can be removed. Quite a sneaky, unscrupulous business practice - I imagine the majority just pay the bill without checking and also then leave a second tip, without realising one has already been taken without their knowledge.

slightly expensive and the transportation to the main city is very expensive. Also, tourists need to be given more information about the options and prices of the various transport systems.

Breakfast was really good, but the bed was uncomfortable. The view of the room was good and the Pod to the terminal was excellent. Th Pod car journey was one of the unique experiences of this Hotel.

The food options were not great for myself - I have a dairy intolerance which ruled out many menu items and there was a lack of many DF options at the breakfast buffet (like DF yogurts, cheeses, variety of milks)

Clean and comfy room, easy transport links to Heathrow airport and friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant offered great views of the Heathrow runways and I was glad that the breakfast opened before 7am.

The car park surface to and from the pods isn't luggage wheel friendly, really struggled on the rough tarmac through the car park. Maybe investing in resurfacing pedestrian zones with smooth finish would be great!

Perfect for a night before travel from Heathrow. The transport pods to T5 are so easy and fast! Food is good here too.

We had to argue the bill in the restaurant and felt stressed and ripped off.

The room was clean and pleasant. No problems. The restaurant was good food but they tried to over charge us by £16. They charged nearly £8 for a tip that should have been optional despite appallingly slow service. But worse they tried to charge us £22 each for salmon meals that were in the menu as £18.

The decor was a little dated. The restaurant although good was limited in choice and although it was not busy the day we weren't there service was a little slow.

The easy transfer to Terminal 5 was very useful if a little expensive (£8 each person). Other terminals can be reached by free train from T5. Breakfast was a good buffet.

No ramp on stairs for very heavy bags. Rooms were booked together well in advance, for our family. We were given rooms that were way too far away from eachother. Our king room was right next to the stair well. Not happy.
