Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomOnly regret was that we unable to stay longer!
We had a very warm welcome from Sandra. Breakfast was great and the room very clean and comfortable. Ample and easy parking. Very well located for the Conwy valley including Bodnant garden.

United States of AmericaEverything here exceeded our expectations.
This was a great location for our two nights in Conwy. Our room was very comfortable; the bathroom had high-end conveniences that we weren't expecting. The gardens were absolutely beautiful; we wish we'd planned for some time to sit on the veranda and enjoy the birds and flowers. We had a flat tire on our rental car while we were in Anglesey an hour away. Sandra was so helpful in advising us while we rearranged our plans so we could pick up another rental. She even called a taxi for us to get to the train station. The breakfasts were delicious, perfectly cooked with generous portions -- a great way to start a full day of adventures.

United KingdomNothing to fault.
The location was peaceful and very charming. We could sit on the balcony with a glass of wine and watch the bird feeders and the beautiful garden. The room was excellently presented, comfy and with some nice touches like scrumptious flapjack pieces. The breakfast was wonderful. Nice short walk to the Ty Gwyn pub was an excellent meal, warm welcome and great characters serving us. This is a great central location to visit some great North Wales tourist attractions and return to a haven of quiet.

Our hosts were enthusiastic, professional and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble; they made reservations for us at their recommended restaurants, all of which were as described and well worth the visit.

United KingdomHonestly there is nothing that this b and b could improve on.
Chris and Sandra were brilliant hosts and Ruby the Cockerpoo made an appearance too! Breakfast was lovely, choice of yogart , fruit and granola, cooked breakfast (quality ingredients) and toast tea/coffee. The B and B itself , was beautiful, decorated to a high standard and the gardens were beautiful. Our room was a junior suite with an all singing and dancing loo! the bed was huge extremely comfy, and again decorated to a high standard and very clean. Tea and Coffee facilities too, milk was in a flask in a small fridge on the landing. There is also an honesty bar, make your own drink or have a bottle of wine and add it to the book on the bar. You wont be disappointed if you booked a stay here, there is a pub in Rowen and its close to Conway too.

Tir y Coed is absolutely beautiful. We felt relaxed from the moment we arrived, sitting in the gorgeous garden having a little drink to unwind after our journey. Chris and Sandra were so welcoming, giving advise on places to visit, booking taxis for us and were just generally lovely people! Breakfast was fantastic, we particularly loved sitting in the window of the dining room watching the woodpeckers and many other birds feeding. The bedroom was very comfortable, the bar (and honesty bar) were an added bonus. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, it’s really wonderful and in such a fab location.

United KingdomLike many of the places in Wales, you need to be ready to navigate some narrow winding roads, not too well sign posted , but it is worth it to find this hidden gem.
Sandra and Chris are excellent hosts : breakfast was delicious, room was clean and comfortable, nothing was any trouble -Sandra even recommended a good local restaurant and booked the meal for us during our stay, and gave us lots of very useful information on local attractions, restaurants etc , even someone to repair the flat tyre we had on the way there. The house has been refurbished to an impressive standard.

United States of AmericaThe only downside is the location. It was a single lane road--not uncommon in rural Wales--to get to the property. It was a bit of an irritant, but worth the drive.
What an absolutely lovely find. The property was in a charming area surrounded by lush countryside and nice walks. The room was large and very modern and even a Japanese self flushing toilet. The breakfast was great, service perfect and the well stocked bar for an evening drink was reasonably priced.
