For our 5 night stay it would have been good to have somewhere to wash and dry clothes.

Perfect tranquil rural location in a beautiful garden overlooking pond and grazing sheep. Theresa made us very welcome with generous provisions and advice on local attractions and places to eat. Easy access from Heathrow for travellers.

Kitchen very suitable for snacks and light meals but not major cooking. However lots of opportunities to eat out with good pubs etc.

Sadly there was no lake at the property, which was the reason we booked the venue. For this reason I knocked off a point as it would have been nice to relax by the lake. Hopefully this will change.

Sunlight coming in through an inaccessible window. But I am extremely sensitive to early morning light so unlikely to be a problem to most people.

An extremely well furnished, equipped and appointed property. In beautiful surroundings with colourful shrubs and flowers and a lake. Very peaceful and private. Theresa is a lovely host.

Bit noisy as close to the road, the shower power was poor, didn't get to feed any donkeys

Lakeside Town Farm was the most perfect, quaint and peaceful stay. Superb gardens, birds chirping away, excellent cabin and facilities and wonderful host.

Theresa was a very helpful and attentive hostess (thanks!). Cabin a real home from home in the large farmhouse garden overlooking the large pond. Very pleasant stay. Very close to the Ridgeway for long distance path walkers (as we were).

There was no heater/heated towel rail in the bathroom. We got round this by opening the door to the living area and letting the heat flow through.

We were greeted on arrival by the friendly hosts who ensured we knew where to find everything, suggestions for places to visit locally and contact numbers, etc. We chose Lakeside Town Farm so we could visit family nearby (in these COVID restricted times) but felt like we'd had a great, relaxing holiday! The setting for Lakeside Town Farm was lovely within the large gardens overlooking the lake and distant fields. We especially enjoyed sitting out in the gardens enjoying the view and relaxing whilst the sun shone. The veranda of the cabin catches the sun for most of the day. We were entertained by ducks and ducklings on the lake. It was quiet which suited us but a great location for exploring 'busier' places nearby. There are nice local walks and it is convenient for Oxford, M40, etc. We found the cabin had everything we needed including a comfy bed. It is a self-contained studio set up with en-suite. The 'welcome pack' was very generous, providing enough for our breakfasts during our three night stay. The property was scrupulously clean and had 'extra' cleaning products such as anti-bacterial wipes available. There were lots of thoughtful touches like fresh flowers and outside garden furniture provided. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We stayed 3 nights at Lakeside Town Farm and our visit was delightful from start to finish. We particularly enjoyed sitting outside in Theresa's beautiful garden overlooking the lake.
