눉Nothing really. The hill up to the castle's kind of steep, but honestly, it's probably good for you, haha. Our calves did ache a bit, but it's a beautiful walk filled with interesting plants. I saw a rabbit! There was a wedding there every day we were there -- which wasn't long, honestly; we were only there for three days. We kept going around the back entrance because we didn't want to be in the way. More a heads up than a complaint is that you need to dress smart/casual if you want to have dinner there. We didn't really have anything that fit the description, so we just ordered takeaway on the first night (which was really tasty, honestly), and went out to eat the other two nights. We went to one fancy restaurant which was Pedn Olva, down by the beach, which is also a hotel. The food was great, but really quite pricey, and desserts are pretty minimal... but maybe we're just greedy. But hey, there are plenty of restaurants in the area. Tregenna offer BBQ until late summer every Monday and Thursday, which we unfortunately missed. :( Good thing to bear in mind if you'd like it though, because it probably tastes good! We really don't have any complaints really. Steep hill, but nice view. Expensive place, but worth the money and comparable prices to most hotels in the area.
눇The croissants /were/ extra flakey, we loved them. We loved the entire place. It was in a beautiful location; even though we didn't pay for a sea view, it was still pretty outside. I was pretty ecstatic to find free tea and coffee in our room. It was refreshed every day, too. We liked that there was a spa and pool facilities and would've liked to go, but we didn't have time for the pool and didn't have the money for the spa. I'm not sure if it was pricey or average as we've never been to one anyway, but it looks like it'd be good value for money. Breakfast provided a good selection of continental and full English. It had various fruits -- I loved the peaches -- along with plain yoghurt (only one flavour), croissants, and pains au chocolat. Full English included sunny side up eggs, bacon, sausages, fried bread (which was great), and tomatoes. You could also go up for juice and stuff. The bed was comfy (and huge; my boyfriend and I share a single at home!), and it was cleaned every day. Cleaners were faultless but we never got to say thank you. We left it on the slip of paper though. :p We left the towels on the rack so they didn't have to replace them, but they did anyway and we felt bad, haha. (If any staff see this, please say thank you again! To all of you, really.) There are a lot of facilities and it's a beautiful location. If we could have afforded to stay there longer, we would've spent some days just relaxing at the hotel. Also, I caught a Starmie on Pokémon Go. Wifi and signal wavers a little in the area, but in the castle it worked perfectly. At least where we were. I took more photos of the area and posted them on my instagram if you want to see! c: @blossombombs / https://www.instagram.com/blossombombs/

눉Breakfast let them down. Stodgy and poor selection. Tea and coffee in room was tasteless.
눇Absolutely beautiful location, views and grounds. Couldn't be a lovelier spot. Room was clean and comfortable and quiet. Staff were very helpful.
