Was given a modern room then I booked for my son to join us for his birthday booking him a double room also, unfortunately his room was very dated, smelt of damp and mould, we were given an upgrade and free breakfast for my son for this

Had a room upgrade, young lad on reception very helpful, Sebastian behind the bar was brilliant.

Although initial impressions were that it needed work, in the reception area, the rest was fine and it grew on us and a great swimming pool for the children.

Some rooms are dated and tired looking. Heating can be erratic in some rooms. The whole place could do with a massive cash injection, but then if that happens the prices would rise and it would no longer be the Trouville!

Clean, warm, well located, friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was good and plenty of it. Rooms are generously proportioned and comfortable. Hotel is a stone's throw from the beach and pier and round the corner form the BIC. Incredible value for money.

We stayed on the 2nd floor, at around 10pm there was a loud vibration that continuously pulsed for about an hour & again in the morning. Sounded like some sort of a pump on the roof, maybe for a water tank! A bit annoying, told staff who seemed to be unaware of it, but I imagine it’s happens everyday. Also the rooms are a bit dated but priced accordingly.

Great value for money & a good location, 5 minute walk to the town. Also a 24 hour bar & reception.

lack of a fridge in the rooms, draughty windows making the room quite cold, things near the window were simply wet from liquefying steam

No access from disabled parking space in carpark to hotel as the door entry system was ignored. My disabled partner had to walk around the hotel uphill to the front door. Completely negates the disabled parking. No toilet roll in the bathroom, called reception to report, eventually had to go down and collect from reception after an hour + wait. Wouldn't recommend the breakfast (eaten here on a previous stay) plenty of local eateries at a much higher standard and better value for money.

Location was convenient for town, pier and seafront

The floor boards squeaked outside the room and above. The disco went on until midnight which we weren't informed about. The restaurant wasn't open in the evening. Everywhere needed a good paint job.

    The bed was lovely.

I booked my son for 1 night, his allocated room was extremely dated and had a strong smell of damp, I spoke to a lovely young lad at reception who upgraded his room and added a complimentary breakfast. One of the staff members don't know his name, works reception wasn't great, he was rude 😒

We had a lovely sized room, ours was more updated then most. The full English breakfast was lovely. Sebastian is a credit to the hotel. The location was great, we stayed for 2 nights with breakfast for only £107.

The room was very dated but for the price ok. The bed was very squeaky and woke me up every time I turnt over. There's an additional cost for parking £12 we had to pay to park in the hotel car park.

We paid £9 each extra for breakfast of arrival and it was okay but could of been better, the sausages and bacon tasting a little odd, but the attendant was very polite and cleared plates quickly. As with any older sea front hotel at the budget range some of the decor was old and failing (such as wallpaper coming loose)

Location and price are hard to beat, Myself and some friends stayed here for one night as we attended a performance at the BIC which is right one the sea front and only a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The Trouville was also considerably cheaper then some of the other hotels in located near the front. The staff are very friendly and polite. The beds were comfortable and a sea view from our room for £40 was very good!

Our room had dirty knickers by the radiator ! ! I think the Dog charge should be by stay and not by night like most other places . The carpark charges are quite expensive for hotel guests there should be cheaper.

    The large room and Spa.
