The food was fine but nothing special.

The staff were all lovely, felt very welcome. The terrace was really nice for drinks. We enjoyed playing tennis and walking/running up the hill behind. Had very good massage.

Although good quality food the menu could be a bit more extensive. Although if only staying a couple of nights this should not be a problem.

Easy to find and well located for easy access to lots of Somerset tourist attractions. Very good facilities with pool,gym etc. Ģreat breakfasts and evening meals quality was good. All staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful.

Swimming pool was very busy. No bottle water in room. No dressing gown There was so much noise coming from one of the rooms above us , so didn't sleep well. I did ring the night porta, it saddly didn't make much difference.

Every where was so clean. Friendly staff I had the best massage. Facilities were great Food was great Great coffe Clean room

Not telling us before arrival and when booking that there was a Freemasonry day that took over the hotel The pool and gym were shut that day No offer of a discount given Booking of time slots in the pool was ineffective as often people did not show up at their booked time Other people could have used the facility

Public areas were rather dated and could have been a bit cleaner.

Staff extremely helpful and polite. Quiet and safe location. Evening meal offered good gluten-free menu and was well cooked and reasonably priced. Good selection at breakfast , including fish (though portion matchbox-sized!).

The hotel was very tired looking inside and out, the bar sofas need replacing however the restaurant was good.

The breakfast was very good and the staff were very helpful. The swimming pool was excellent and very clean, again the staff were very helpful and pleasant.

The room was much smaller than expected. It was a standard room so can’t imagine how small the cosy double room was. Overall, the room felt a bit basic.

Restaurant was very child friendly and good selection of food. Not too busy either. Loved the swimming pool, having to book beforehand meant it was never overcrowded and free towels was a very useful bonus.

I was a little disappointed after booking the superior room that this did not have a view of the surrounding area. I also found the room quite basic. While eating in the lounge bar we noticed that there were people coming and going from the gym and found this a bit off putting, perhaps a different entrance and exit would be more appropriate.

Food was lovely and staff very friendly and helpful. The building and surrounding area was beautiful with stunning views, we had good weather so were able to sit out on the terrace. We would like to return for another trip in the near future.

One of the main windows in the bathroom was open and would not close/lock. The room was in the old part of the hotel and it looked like the window would need removing and refitting to sort out this problem. The windows in the bathroom were also very dirty with lots of cobwebs and dead insects. They looked like they had not been cleaned for a very very long time. I wouldn't really expect to find this in a £140 per night room.

Warm welcome, nice views from hotel, complimentary use of spa facilities, not far from Weston Super Mare but do need a car, plenty free parking at the hotel. Nice bar, although we did not use and breakfast and dinner available at an additional cost. The room was very spacious, being an executive room, and had a nice balcony where you could sit if the weather was good and on the whole decorated to quite a high standard.

We were in a superior room, however we had 2 single beds pushed together rather than the double bed we were expecting. Every night the beds moved further apart, me and partner were were very unhappy with this. Beds also very uncomfortable, springy

We booked a superior room. We.though our bed size would have been bigger, not just the standard double size bed. Unfortunately, the mattress was far too soft and didn't like it at all. We came back home with the back pain. I have to mention that we use a firm mattress at home, so it's probably not easy to satisfy the guests.

We loved the location and the view. Never had a chance to enjoy the spa or gym facilities as we were far too. busy hiking. Our superior bedroom was quite big. We loved the full breakfast.
