No lift was available in the main house - lots of stairs to get to our room.

Good breakfast - nice choice of continental and cooked breakfast items.. Ideally situated to get to Oxford Park & Ride points. Excellent dinner using local ingredients, well-presented, garden view. Decent wine list. Reception very friendly and helpful. Room spacious and comfortable.

Dinner beautifully presented and dining room pleasant. Breakfast excellent. Staff professional and attentive. Booked last minute and had a really comfortable night. Super bedding, comfy bed, dressing gown and slippers. Great value room. Dinner expensive but worth it.

A beautiful building, the rooms and all areas of the hotel are very comfortable, and well kept. The staff are outstanding, every one we met was so helpful, friendly and professional. The food is delicious, we had breakfast and dinner, all very good. A lovely weekend in a wonderful place. Thank you.

The bar was not manned 100% of the time, meaning there was often a delay in getting service. Although the quality of the food was exceptional, we found that the choice available was slightly too select for our taste, for example I have never stayed in a hotel where some kind of steak was not on the dinner menu. Likewise, the availability of wine by the glass was also very limited.

The ambience of the hotel was excellent. The room was wonderful and we very much appreciated the upgrade. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The quality of the food was superb.

Room- expected a bathtub, wardrobe and a desk/chairs to setup laptop. Cobwebs/ stains on bathroom floor, tissue box empty. Could hear other guests clearly coming into building and walking to their rooms/ slamming of doors.

Location. Just off the M40. Grounds were beautiful as were the decorations in the main building Customer service was excellent. Anna was polite and knowledgeable. Free EV charging.

Amazing hotel, beautiful decor, exceptionally clean, excellent value for money. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were so helpful and presented themselves so well. This to me was more than a 4 star and I'll definitely visit again soon. Thank you for our lovely stay.

Very little fruit for breakfast. Not everyone wants a big fry up in a morning. We sleep with the bedroom window open and the M40, although some distance away traffic noise was a bit intrusive.

Bedroom comfort, staff and food, although this was a little expensive. Plus a small thing but they had everything for making tea or coffee in the room including somewhere for used tea bags. Why do many hotels expect you to put them in the waste paper bin.

The coach house the flooring wasn’t soundproof so you could hear everything above but we did enjoy our stay

Only one little thing, as a bit elderly we would have like just one chair in the room. But managed ok. And maybe a banister on the wall side possibly a little further as the last step was difficult to manoeuvre as I use crutch.

The true old English feel was a delight. It was warm and welcoming and the rooms along with the served breakfast was first rate. The open gardens were a joy to look at and it was very peaceful but not too far away from many attractions like Bicester Village and Oxford city.

Nothing that we can think of, we had a relaxing stay.

Breakfast, room and dinner were excellant. The room had double aspect views of the grounds which are beautifully kept. The feeling of grandour staying in a country manor. The staff are friendly and attentive. AND! how wonderful to have our room upgraded.
