We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

The room was not bad, but basic. The bed was very comfortable. Based on the price, I was expecting something a bit more luxurious. The location is very good, next to the beach and very good connection with Brighton by bus.

Breakfast was enjoyable, service was slightly slow, but very polite. Twin room was large and clean. registering car for free parking was easy. I stay here specifically for the location.

It seems that I might have needed to access a Sky Wifi email in order to enable Sky Wifi, but I needed use to Sky Wifi in order to read their email?! Inadequate online Sky Wifi registration information English Breakfast: dry shrivelled mushrooms, served with baked beans - which I'd already declined - instead of bacon.
Very good cherry compote for breakfast; plus good sea view from bedroom.

Bedroom windows (which are filthy) don't open; bathroom tiles chipped; black mould around bath seal; bath fascia falling off; part of door handle missing; grubby carpets everywhere. Given the price, I expect at least complimentary bottled water and tissues in the room, as well as crisp cleanliness everywhere!
Outstanding staff, especially the the current joint managers whose hard work, multi-tasking and endless cheerfulness lifted this very average hotel. I hope that after the refurb, this excellent couple may be employed permanently!

United KingdomNot really a complaint but my room didn’t have a view, so the window was frosted glass. I was really only in there to sleep, but a sea view room would’ve been great to wake up to.
Lovely staff, great location, right on the sea front. Room was nice, tidy and comfortable. I was travelling on my own and really only wanted a bed for the night. The en-suite bathroom was a good size. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the shower handset spray was adjustable from a jet to a spray(many other hotels I’ve stayed in didn’t have that). Towels where also provided. Bed was comfy, it was a hot day and night, I slept on top the covers; room was warm enough and the window was constantly open. Room had a Tv, telephone (I didn’t use them), desk and chair. Open clothes rail hanger on the wall which was handy too. I didn’t use the hotel bar or restaurant as I went out into Brighton to eat, but the menu looked good. They even have Beyond Burgers if you’re vegetarian or vegan. My room was one of the first at the top of the stairs so it was near the stairway door. Could hear people coming and going but it wasn’t a bother. At night the hotel was very quiet. Breakfast was excellent. Fresh filter coffee, croissants and pastries plus a cooked vegetarian breakfast which was lovely. Fruit juice, cereals where also available. The free Parking (for hotel guests) was one of my main reasons why I booked the room. I’d heard that it is difficult to find a parking spot in Brighton and expensive too. My van is too high for most covered car parks, so I was already limited. Being able to leave it in the hotel car park and get the bus into Brighton was a huge relief. The bus stop is right outside the hotel and buses are frequent and cheap. £2.00 single to the pier. I wish I could’ve stayed for 2 nights.

United KingdomA bit overpriced at £575 for three nights. The hotel needs refurbishment, which I hear is coming this autumn. The staff try their best, but there aren’t enough of them. On Monday morning we were perturbed to hear a manager giving loud instructions to the staff while we were at our breakfast, with never a please or a thank you. This should not have been audible to the guests.
Super location. Very friendly staff. Very comfy bed. Really nice veggie cooked breakfast. This was our fifth visit so we must like it!
