We asked if we could have a take away sandwich instead of breakfast as checkout was 10.30 and we had been working and we were exhausted. Had a phone call at 10.22 to make sure that we would be out at 10.30 . They gave us our sandwiches and that was that. Would have been nice if they offered us a drink before we left or asked if everything was ok. Doesn't hurt to be friendly.

The location, space and breakfast was amazing. When we arrived to check in, I rang the doorbell and there was no answer so I opened the front door to find that it was a no contact check in and there was a sheet to fill in with our car park registration details and breakfast items. I felt a bit strange not seeing the owners as we were staying in their hostelry and only saw them briefly at breakfast.

The location wasn't far away from Jodrell Bank which is one of the main attractions in the area. The breakfast was lovely and the room was fantastic. Just the right amount of space for 2 adults and a teenager. The town of Congleton was a short drive and we had a good walk around the area.

We were in a family room at the top of the house and my tall husband kept banging his head in the ceiling. The ceilings were not mentioned when booking.

Everything was super clean and well maintained. Breakfast was fab!

We really enjoyed our stay and defiantly wouldn’t complain about anything. Throughout the stay you can hear people in the other rooms slightly just as you would in your home however this didn’t disturb our stay at all.

Lovely hosts who were very accommodating as we turned up earlier than the booking. Food was lovely and the room was pristine. It really made you relax as the room was so cozy it felt like home.

The road at the entrance to the property was flooded, so a bit anxious on entry and exit.

Spacious and quiet with ample parking. Lovely view across the fields from our room. A very good choice of cooked breakfast options, strong coffee and delicious toast.

Having another bedside light so there was one on each side of the bed in the room we stayed in would be helpful.

There was a very friendly and helpful atmosphere and we were made to feel most welcome. Breakfast was very good with a varied selection. The room was clean and comfortable with very good tea making facilities and even had a corkscrew on the tray which was appreciated!
